Fahrenheit 911

I had more time to think about it and I want to point out a few other things:

Moore really did his homework in the papertrail of money and Bushes worldy influences espcially his linking the Bush family and the Bin Laden's to a common corporation.

He aslo was able to tie in ...what was his name James Bass I think..the other fella who was kicked out of the air force with Bush......and his role in the goverment.

He did a good job of personalizing the war in iraq by interviewing the american combatants.

He did have a message and a direction but his opinions on facts and presented a very humanistic touch by interviewing some of the people that he did.

How do you know that these are facts? Are you and Michael Moore privy to more information than the average American? Yes, Michael Moore is average!

I'm not a Bush supporter but i wasn't impressed at all by F.9/11. I thought Bowling for Columbine was better.

I saw it and it had two things that I really liked about it

1) it had a personal touch to it. He spent a lot of time in the movie talking to soilders in the war zone and talking to a woman who child died over there. He went into Iraq at times and filmed. He spoke with politicians

2) He did his homework on bush and tracked how Bush makes money. He than offered it as a motive for bushes actions.
Exactly. Forget about the politics, people are frigging dying for nothing. Also, out of millions and millions of corporations, Bush works for Bin Laden's family...how the h-ll do you explain that?

You know how you know they are facts? He didn't get sued. In this country you get sued if you lie about the president like that.

Michael Moore ROCKS. Most of the movie was great...although he had a weird view about Canadians. We don't open our door to just anyone y'know. It's kinda like the igloo thing. I lived in the States til I was 10 and grew up thinking that I was going to live in an igloo with a moose in my backyard. Alot of Americans still think that we live in the bush...although it's a helluva lot nicer than living the city.

i still dont like michael moore. god knows how much stuff in that movie is true. i repeat, i just think hes making tons of money off of this sad situation. it would make the movie more valid if he donates it or something, but hey, what position am I in to say?

anyways, the movie only confirmed what i thought was true, bush is not a very good person when it comes to politics.

He is really good about souces and footnotes in his books and movies. If you really wanted to and had the time ( i don't) you could verify what is true and what is not. If you watch his movies he will reveal his souces and in his books he always lists them. Have you ever seen any of his movies or read his books if so which ones and what things do you specifically dispute?

it was kind of an extreme when he badgered members of congress to send thier hcildren to war. i mean, its the childs choice. i dont know... it is kinda backward.
That was the best part of the movie. They send other peoples' children off without thinking about it...the should go themselves...if they have already, it is different. I heard somewhere that one of the guys' sons was in the war....don't know if it was just a way to shut me up, it worked.
