Fake Paganism

Not correct. In one part of the world, there are a billion pagans, following their age-old traditions happily and living prosperously. It represents two major pagan streams which merged together, Indo-Europen and indigenous Indian, now known as Hinduism. Thoroughly pagan.
To the extant of lighting fire with rubbing of sticks, offering to their deities barley which they normally do not eat, asking their deities to sit on a special species of grass (Doorva - a sort of prickly grass), considering only wooden implements and wool as pure.
I won't comment about other religions.
