Baby Heathen is the size of a fig, so says the books.

We caught a glimpse of the heart beat on doppler last night - registering at 175 beats per minute. I go back to the doctor on Monday. Hope to learn more about the progress of our little one.

Had a 3 hour appointment today with high risk specialist. LOVE the new office & crew. I got a sneak peak at baby via ultrasound. Our baby is beautiful! His/her facial profile was so precious, I cried. Sweetest little nose & mouth. Baby was sleeping with one arm suspended near its face. The Doctor's Assistant jostled him/her around and baby "woke" with a start - kicking little legs & moving little arms around.

I'm feeling flutters (Doc Assistant confirmed I'm not crazy, this is my third pregnancy, after all). Strong heart beat.

We're 12 weeks along & so love this little creation. This week, baby is the size of a lime.
