Grease, Les Mis, Rent, Sunday in the Park with George, and Annie get your Gun.

My Grandad was a music teacher who had a music shop. He took us to see the movie version of A Chorus Line. I tell you the truth, there is no more uncomfortable place in the Universe to be than sitting between your Grandparents while Virginia Madsen is singing the song about "T!ts and ***". I was 13 or 14. Most awkward moment in my life...

Here it is

I own the video version of A Sunday in the Park with George with Bernadette Peters and Mandy Patinkin (better known as Inigo Montoya in the Princess Bride) in the leads. I highly recommend it.

While I concur with many of the others presented here, there is a particularly special place in my heart for "The Sound of Music".

It's music from there that I will be most likely to hum or sing.

I saw Wicked and loved it. Want to see it again (and possibly again).

Phantom of the Opera has always been a favorite of mine. My father took me to see it on my seventeenth birthday. Would see that again and again too.

My favorite musical is Avenue Q. Basically, it's an existentialist version of Sesame Street with sex jokes. It's really funny and deals with quite a few issues that young adults face.

Others include Rent (only for the music; most of the characters are horrible people), Repo! The Genetic Opera (again, mainly for the music), The Little Shop of Horrors, The Sound of Music (you can't judge me!), Chicago and The Producers.
