Slipknot is another one of my favorites, but only when considering Self-Titled and Iowa. Subliminal Verses and All Hope is Gone are good albums in their own right, just not good Slipknot albums.

Enchanted One, I think you would enjoy this band, as you would seem to be a fan of things Egyptian.....

The band's called NILE, as you can tell they are technical death metal, but all their lyrics are either taken from ancient egyptian papyrii, or pyramid texts, or about egyptian legends such as the godslayer, Unas. Alot of their lyrics are in egyptian. Even if you dont like death metal, you may find them interesting. :angel2:

Mandy Harvey is my favorite! Who could be more inspiring than a singer who is brilliantly talented and also deaf?

She's not that well known (YET!!!!), but you can hear her sing a full song of Smile at her website, mandyharveymusic dot com

I'd love to hear her sing with Michael Buble.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
I'm old school but that's how I roll. For single artists, I love Sting (and he's fantastic in concert). As for bands, U2 is my favorite - EXCEPT when I'm on a road trip. Then I listen to Great Big Sea. Love me some Newfoundland lads!
