A few songs, that aren't extremely heavy or satanic.
Pantera - Cemetery Gates (definitely would be difficult, maybe impossible, as a 6 string stock guitar will not produce the whines (and I forget what exactly is required for it) at the end of the song. But, it does send chills through my spine)
TOOL - Wings For Marie, PT. 1/ 10,000 Days (Wings, PT. 2)
Jaco Pastorious - Slang (A solo from a bass god, who was a blues/jazz artist)
And, Pink Floyd is always a crowd pleaser.

But, if I had a jazz band, I would definitely use Jaco as a primary influence, as he was to the blues/jazz world as Cliff Burton was to the metal world. Unfortunately though, that means the songs will take time to learn, and will not be easy.

Also figured I'd throw another idea out there:

Traffic: Low Spark of High Heeled Boys

YouTube - Low Spark

There's a guy in the video who talks occasionally but most of it he's gone. Hard to find a good recording on Youtube
