Favorite Superheroes

The Batman thread has gotten me to thinking about superheros, my very immature pleasure (which will continue to be a guilty pleasure of mine).

So, who's your favorite hero(s), and why?

Personally, I like the Hulk, Spider-man, and Superman the most.

The Hulk, because I've always been able to relate to him to some degree.

Spidey for pretty much the same reason, but unlike the Hulk, Spidey always has wonderful comments (well, the Hulk does if we have the Gray Hulk or the Professor Hulk).

Superman, because frankly, he is the superhero. I particularly like those older Superman stories from the 30s and 40s, though I can't get my hands on reprints that often.

Now that I've indulged the little kid in me, I'll see what everybody else posts.

It's a toss up between Batman, Wolverine, and Havoc (when he wasn't a bad guy...and sometimes even when he was)

LOL.

I don't recall ever feeling like that towards a comic character, though as a young teenager, I did think Troy was cute.

yeah you and every other female comic book reader i think C1...i remember i was reading a recent issue of X-men and the lady X-men were out on a bachelorette party and were talking about who was the hottest man in the group and they were all saying Gambit and Jean Grey was like, "i just don't get it. What's so hot about him"
and Jubilee says, "He's hot! Isn't he Northstar?" Northstar...the only man in the group and openly gay says, "Yeah he spicy cajun hot with some hot buns!"
:biglaugh:

It's the accent. It's sexy. And the whole flaming cards thing. Any guy that can enflame anything he touches is the man for me :D (I know it wasn't actually flames but like some sort of charge..but still, you get my drift)

Heh. I was the only one that watched Star Trek TNG. They, however, did daydream about Chun-Li.

I'm not into newschool videogames, so I'm thinking about the original streetfighter that also had the Sonic Boom guy, the green monster guy and that guy that could float. I'm obviously not good with names, as you can see.

I always liked the Green Lantern. He always did the coolset things with that ring...

Also: Superman, Batman (because, in my opinion, he isn't tachincally a superhero, just a guy with a lot of cool toys), Gambit, Wolverine, and, Nightcrawler.

For some reason, I never really liked The Flash though.

You got the right one. That's Street Fighter II (they released five different arcade editions of the game, and quite a few home versions).

The funny thing is, that's no longer considered newschool (it's funny to try and get a more recent gamer to try something like an SNES Final Fantasy, or the original Dragon Warrior...)
