I've played on a Newschool console maybe 4 times. Presently I own an NES, SNES, and Sega Genesis.

I bought a playstation 1 and a N64 for my son last Christmas, so I've played on those maybe two times each. I, however, much prefer my NES.

Pyro was also very cool....I don't know, I think it's a fire thing with me *Shrug*

I remember when Pyro and the Freedom Force decided to pick a fight with the Grey Hulk. That issue was hilarious (In fact, I need to go try and see if I can find it for sale somewhere).

I'm very partial to the SNES. It's down, but I do have ROMS on CD of the games I own so that when I get a new system, I can kick back w/ the Secret of Mana again or Super Metroid.

On the PSX, Final Fantasy VII (not VIII or even IX) and SF were my favorites.

Man, when I was younger I was so into comic books, it was terrible. I still have over 200 lying around the house somewhere in those plastic bags with the cardboard inserts, lol. I was a collecter haha!

Meh, I'm a huge geek, so I bought myself Jeopardy for my son's PSX. That's pretty much the only game I'll play on it. I do enjoy Zelda for the N64 though.

Ditto.

I had that many (at least), but I lost them all during a move. I had all the Hulks from the mid 330s to the 420s, almost all the Spider-man 2099s, the Infinity Trilogy, and several others that I didn't buy nearly as often (like Doom 2099 or X-Men 2099).

I can't say I was a collector, though. I got them to read, and their market value dropped like a rock when I got them lol.

Geek here also. I bought an N64 for Zelda. I gave it away later, but that game is fun (not near as fun as the old SNES version, though).

The game that currently gets the most time from me is definately Nethack on my system. I like being suprised by the mail daemon when I get an email.

I barely read any of them. I'd have to say the only ones I read were the X-mens and the Batman Dark Knight series

Awesome!

I remember the Zelda for NES. You just walked around little squares and eventually had to fight a triceratops, haha! Oldschool cheesy graphics are the best.

My favorite was that annoying three-headed dragon. He was fun to kill. However, I remember the first time that I burned a bush to find a secret door, and was told "Pay me $$$$ for the repairs."

One fun thing I liked to try was on the second quest (skipping to it with the ZELDA code), and beating everything in a different order than I was supposed to.

Ah. With the exception of Star Trek, the comics were my junk food in place of TV. Well, that and setting up fights.

LOL! Never tried that.

Growing up, I basically did what my older brothers did. They bought comics and didn't read them, so I bought comics and didn't read them, lol. They were so mean to me, but I idolized them so much, it was horrible. When I started smoking I would always smoke the same brand my brother Dale did. If he switched brands, I'd switch brands. It was quite odd, now that I think about it.

Try it. It can be quite fun. Especially, if you make a point to not hunt down many hearts, but only the equipment you need to beat it.

Ah. I was the only comic book/geek/whatever in the family.

I was a big fan of the Doom Patrol. The old Doom Patrol in 1960's My Greatest Adventure and Grant Morrison's wonderful handling of them in the DC/ Vertigo series of the same name. If I was to pick one favorite superhero it would be Crazy Jane from Morrison's Doom Patrol. No tight fitting spandax, no flowing capes, she dressed kind of frumpy was unattractive but had 32 personalities each one more deadly than the next. The trade paperbacks are still available.

Sexiest-Starfire from Teen Titans (the comic book, not the cartoon). If Robin the Boy Wonder (Nightwing) didn't want her I was going to ask her to marry me.

That's one series I haven't followed

The only thing it goes to show is that you have great taste in superheroes.

and Jubilee says, "He's hot! Isn't he Northstar?" Northstar...the only man in the group and openly gay says, "Yeah he spicy cajun hot with some hot buns!"
:biglaugh:
That had be laughing right in the comic book store. They had had Northstar be simply someone who relished the fact that he was a jerk, but it looks like they're expanding his character now.

Speaking of characters, my personal favorite...

Is Nightcrawler/ Kurt Wagner. I love how he's got a kind spirit and a gentle soul, while having this exterior that makes people think otherwise. I also love his interplay with Wolverine (oddly enough, my 60-year old mum's favorite character). While Wolverine has great depth of his own, I think his friendship with Kurt really brings out the humanity in him.
