Captain Planet, he's our hero Gonna take pollution down to zero
He's our powers, magnified
And he's fighting on the planets side

I used to love that show!

yeah i don't that me and my friends can go 5 minutes without slipping into a different accent or using movie lines during a conversation. Hell we can have whole conversations with movie quotes sometimes
I do that with music. It annoys the hell out of my friends. Any word reminds me of a song, so I either just break into singing or I run on about all this useless oldschool punk music trivia that I have and start telling my friends some random story about a band no one's ever heard of and they get all aggrivated with me.

I remember the show was on when the USSR was still around and the intro would be like, "From the Soviet Union, Linka with the power of Wind" and then the Soviet Union disapeared halfway through the series and the changed it to "From Eastern Europe..."

But she still wore that red star on her jacket

I've always like WildChild. I dunno why. He was like sabertooth, but smaller (like me) and funny. I hate the way the made him in the new weapon x series. He looks like a vampire. I also like beast, nightcrawler and wolverine. As you can tell, I'm into the animal mutants. Morbius was always cool as well.

Heres my latest drawing of beast...

So, who's your favorite hero(s), and why?
1. Batman - because he's smart (no superpowers, just brainpower) and because he's fractured. Doing the right thing is a struggle. I can relate to both. Plus, it doesn't hurt that he's emotionally inaccessible. I love that in a man! ;)

2. Spiderman - because he's a nerd and because things don't always go right for him. Being a hero is hard and he doesn't get the credit but he does it anyway.

3. The Tick - because he's funny!

Ohh...I used to love Jean Grey as Phoenix/Dark Phoenix. That was my favorite series for a long time.
And it didn't end with that series...cause she kept changing back and forth from her regular powers to the Phoenix..and dying...and coming back to life...and dying again...and then her daughter, Rachel Summers, gets the Phoenix powers...

Does ANYONE remember that crappy Hannah Barbara cartoon about 3 dudes, one could turn into a puddle, and one could be electricity, forgot the other one. they were rock stars or summin.

Hey I LOVED Scooby Doo! But not that Scrappy crap. I loved the Mysteries!

I knew it continued after that series, but I didn't know Rachel got the powers. That's cool. My comic book geek-ness ended after like 10 years.

For awhile she was contemplating a relationship with BATMAN but both agreed it wasn't practical what with him being a rich playboy and her an Amazon Princess. Ask me about all the latest gossip and you will discover I am well informed. FANBOY FOR LIFE!!!
