No, but you reminded me of my favorite comic book series. They're not superheroes, but I LOVED "Sandman" by Neil Gaiman.jewscout said:Does anyone remember the Age of Apocalypse series?
Wow, thanks! That's the most action that I've gotten in a while.SoulTYPE01 said:Lilithu I Love You You Are Soooooooooo Getting Fruballed And Coined For That!
So was it a reinterpretation of religious characters? Because I'm always interested in that. It's one of the reasons why I liked Sandman so much.jewscout said:AOA was friggin sweet...i love the way they reinterpreted the characters for this timeline

So no one else here liked the Tick, huh? How sad.
I think anything from the DC/Vertigo series is an impressive starting point for anyone who does not believe that sequential art is a valid artform and that the graphic novel is a serious literature form as much as any other novel or non-fiction book. Comics aren't just Archie and Casper(not that I have anything against these characters), they have matured and I have grown with the industry and it never ceases to to impress and entertain me.lilithu writes; No, but you reminded me of my favorite comic book series.
