Fear Factor

I like Fear Factor and watch it frequently. I have never seen any physical stunt that I would not jump at the chance to do. I'm not afraid of heights, water, fire, snakes, or any of that stuff. I think it would be great fun. Now...I do draw the line at some of the things they have to eat. Transporting gross stuff in my mouth, while disgusting at the time, just calls for strong resolve and a bottle of Listerine...but actual chewing and swallowing of squid guts and maggot infested cheese and the like....EWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

Now if the episode didn't involve actual eating...I'd be going all the way baby! :takeabow:

I know almost all of the stunts I would love to do. Burry me in snakes, scorpions, bob for whatever it was in cows blood (that was one of my favorite stunts, and they that started screaming like the Hulk made it funny), all the car and high altitude ones, but I just couldn't eat some of the stuff they eat. Buffalo testicles, or any testicles, or penises, maggots, rotten fish, cave spiders that are alive, there is no way. I could handle the cockroaches, the partially developed duck eggs (allthough having living young ducks present would add alittle psychological difficulties), and a few of the other things I could eat.
I also enjoy the meanness of Joe Rogan. I think he's the funniest game show host ever. And, after being involved with the UFC for so many years, I doubt he's scared any contestants are going to get angered enough to hit him.

Luke Wolf, it sounds like you could handle more of the eating things than I could by far. The rest of the stuff we seem to like the idea of doing. Hypothetically, if I could get on there on a partner episode...I'd have to choose you for my partner. You seem about as fearless as me! ;)

I remember one couples episode, they had to drink a shake composed of maggots, rotting fish, and a few other things that couldn't have been good for the human stomach. The girl sucked up enough to get it all the way up the straw, and pretended to drink it, while her poor boyfriend was left to suck the whole thing down. Every contestant but her ran over to a nearby tree to throw up after that one.

But the winner get's $50,000. :D
$50,000 is not enough. Nothing less than 200,000 would motivate me to eat maggots, drive a four wheeler off a cliff, etc.

Give me a parachute, and I'll drive the four wheeler off a cliff for free.

YES! I'll have to do that. I'll participate in it, and with Todd's permission, say I am representing RF.

They might put you in a pit and cover you with snakes, but no harm comes to the snakes.
Snakes don't enjoy being thrown together with hundreds of different snakes and thrown in pits anymore than a person would enjoy being tossed in a crowded pit with hundreds of other people. Snakes are shy creatures who don't like being around all the noise and lights and people and other snakes.

You all are too funny! Draka, Luke Wolf, GO FOR IT! You could represent the forum!
Just show me where to sign up and I'll send an extra form to Luke Wolf!

And Luke, I promise I wouldn't pull that kind of crap that one girl did. I might not like it but if you do it I would too.

RF Fear Factor team on its way! Knockout

Anybody a fan of 'Fear Factor'? Could anybody do the stunts? Eat the gross food? I love this show, but I could not, for any amount of money, eat the food they have to eat! Plus, I'm afraid of heights.
I watch the show occasionally, but I'm not a huge fan. I would not want to eat the wierd things they eat, but I would love to try some of the more physically demanding stunts they do. Like jumping out of a helicopter, or balancing on top of a moving bus, or shooting someone with an automatic paintball gun while being launched from a cannon. Those kinds of stunts are the ones that I do want to try.

The had a really cool one last night on Fox (probably a re-run) where the contestants had to get attacked by huge mastiffs. It was soooo cool!!! I would do that for free!

I can't even watch the gross eating parts of Factor let alone do them myself. I always change the channel when the eating part is on.

Thanks for the link, but dammit, you have to be at least 21.:computer: They need to last to at least season 7 so I can at least turn the application in. Well, me and Draka got plenty of time to get ready.

I love that show myself! I got Jeff watching it. I think that I could do the stunts except for anything to do with water. I have a phobia for water. Luke Wolf and Draka, you two should go for it! ;)

They got to be to protect themselves. It also keeps someone that isn't really wanting to go on it from applying. To much work!

That works. I think I need some time anyway. You don't see pregnant women doing those stunts and I'm not due until June.;) But after that...watch out.Knockout
