I get paranoid when I smoke and drink that am going to hell for it even though I said to myself those are my vices!!!I feel comfortable committing this sin because I do it in place of greater sins!!!

Yes, focusing on these and not feeling guilty about being envious of your fellow man, and being deceptive in dealing with your fellow man, and being jealous of your fellow man, and treating someone in a way that in which you would not like to be treated, etc, is an error that needs correction... Religious practice is not for the lukewarm....

Noah , the only righteous person in the whole world, was a drunk and he did not smoke just because tabacco plants did not evolve in the middle east. Or they did not check in at the boarding in the ark, I don't remember.

So, you are pretty safe. At least, for what concerns the hereafter.

My dad tried to convince me smoking was bad, but since he smoked, it didn't convince me. What did was when I studied the Bible and learned how the Creator feels about smoking. I was glad to learn that drinking in moderation is acceptable.

I do not believe Noah was a drunk, it is recorded he drank too much on one occasion. That does not make him a drunkard, IMO.
