Feeling sympathetic towards non Trump supporting Repubs

You're the one that made a statement in post #4. So it seems that you are unable to provide a link to your statement. I'll assume its just your opinion, then.
I'm just not going to do your homework when it's so easy for you to just look it up. I've told you what to look for, so if you don't want to spend a couple of minutes to look it up, that's your problem.

Bush wasn't good but he was way better then Trump if it were a vote between Id take Bush over Trump any day.I have seen on the news that in the Reagan years econimically he kept us in a good financial place for awhile.

The problems I have with Reagan have more to do with the long term implications of his policies. Of course the economy was generally good as Reagan was the first to take the approach of cutting taxes while increasing spending. It's a methodology that will do wonders in the short term but is starting to really sting after decades of the same. He was also the first to push trickle down policies which simply do not work.

So, like most things, his policies were disastrous but you don't really see the impact unless you look at the long term consequences.

No, the person that makes the claim is the one that backs it up. Since you can't back it up and you're actively ducking it, I know that it's just your opinion.
Odd that when I make a statement, you're all over me to provide backup. But when you make a statement, you still want me to provide the backup. Is there any circumstance in which you provide evidence for your own statements?

Actually I don't remember doing that to you since I actually do the research if I have a question. But I'll tell ya what: if you admit that you're too lazy to actually google it yourself, I'll provide you with links.

BTW, just as a little teaser for ya: google George Will, Joe Scarborough, Nicole Wallace, and Michael Schmidt-- just for starters.

Oh, while I'm at it, since you've claimed to be a "conservative", why did you state that you support Trump's tax break? Plus, why would you be in favor of a move that we know will hurt the poor and quite a few elderly because of the large cuts in Medicaid? Are they just chattel to be shoved off to the side?

IOW, Trump is not a economic conservative, and if you support his actions on that tax cut of his, neither are you. Economic conservatives do not ramp up the deficit by trillions in a non-emergency situation, as this president does.

BTW, google "Conservative Republicans not running for reelection" and see what ya get. You then can pick & choose your articles from different sources. See, I'm being nice to ya.:)
