Groups and classes of people who are discriminated against tend to fight back against the social norms. The more freedom is sought by diverse people the more we see division, as there is a more frightened core tribe of traditionalists who feel their status is under threat. Look at who is threatened by gays, lesbians, transgender, etc. and you will see who feels frightened and threatened. When these frightened people begin to fight back we see a decline in liberties and security.

What does feminism (advocacy of women's rights) have to do with "morality?"

What does an unalterable, innate nature (lesbianism, not "lesbianity") have to do with morality? Nature makes some people gay, and most not. Nature all makes some people very tall or very short, and most not. Last I heard, tall and short are not moral issues.
