Ferguson: Maybe time to start asking the most pertinent questions?

Not exactly. The article that originally proposed an orbital fracture was written by a notorious right wing idiot with no journalistic integrity using unnamed "sources", and the graphic that he used to support his claims was a stock photo of somebody else's orbital fracture.

If Wilson is claiming to have suffered an injury, we have no reliable evidence one way or the other to verify his claims.

That said, I have watched a couple of minutes worth of grainy video of Wilson pacing around Brown's body just after the shooting and talking to another police officer in an agitated fashion, and there was no point at which he touched or examined his face, and no sign of physical discomfort of any kind.

Yup, that's totally OK. Nevertheless, it's very idealistic to assume you will ever be privy to the facts. Cop-on-civilian killings are deemed justifiable 99% of the time, with no public process. So, be ambivalent forever or pick an account to believe.

Love it when people jump the gun and create their own little pseudo history without doing a bit of credible research .


What happened was a dumb street thug who stole and shoved little people around, made the mistake of not only not listening to an officer, but the 300lb monster brutally attacked the officer reaching for his gun after breaking his face causing an orbital fracture to the police mans skull.


All I know is the real tragedy here is the rampant crime in Ferguson, and now we have one less dumb criminal.


Black people need to stop playing the race card over every criminal incident they are involved in. Its not the cops fault the have to arrest criminals breaking the law. And just because your black doesn't mean you don't get beat or shot if you screw up.


What we have in Ferguson is people playing the race card, hoping the cops will drop the guard so they can loot and steal. The other people told them it was such good pickens, they flocked from other towns to see what else they could steal. My co worker said they stole everything but workboots.


Typical example, I gots me pulled over today, and cop dun gave me a ticket, cause I was black.

1) Who are you to tell what black people should say and should not say?

3) I know people in Ferguson, and I have family that live close to the scene. I can fully attest that what you say about their community is nothing at all what you assume.

resist arrest and you will legally be taken down with force, same goes for not listening to an officer. In that, if you fight or endanger the officers life you can legally be shot, or even just make the officer feel threatened for his life.

This is why, amongst many better reasons, I have moved beyond this very thread I initiated.

There are a great many issues worthy of valuable discussion/debate here, including proper representation of people of color in a police force, racial profiling (absent the former); militarization of our police absent proper training; and the usual prejudice, stereotyping, and injustice many community members/citizens may feel towards their elected representative/politicians.

Need it be addressed and remedied? Of course.

Is it an immediate or overnight fix? Of course not.

Is in insoluble?

NO.
