Finding groups

My girlfriend has been looking for a group since she moved down here to Southern California from Ontario, Canada. She hasn't had any luck, even with Witchvox. Anybody know any other good ways to find groups?

I've had some luck with Yahoogroups... I say some because I found a group in the city I live in, but I haven't met them yet...

My name is Kevin and I am 24 years old. I am currently located on Long Island, New York and I have been practicing Wicca for a few weeks now. I am looking for some local people who wanna get together and maybe perform some rituals or whatever. If you are interested, drop me an e-mail at [email protected]

Actually, UUs are a good resource for this. We have a subgroup called CUUPS (Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans) for neopagans. Her local congregation might have a chapter.

If she has no success with finding an adequate group locally, she may want to try to find some people online to collaborate a meeting on the astral planes or in sending each other energy during the sabbats and esbats. Louise Huebner, one of the first witches to be active in Los Angeles in the sixties believed strongly in one's group gathering energetically. This way, pure energy is coming your way and not to be muddled in group politics.
