First and Current Impressions

Orbit

I'm a planet
I've heard and read some horror stories about troublesome tenants who sometimes reach the point of being vandals. What worries me the most aside from vandalism is the possibility of having to evict someone, especially if they were a family. Whether I evicted any tenants or not, I don't think I would feel great after having to consider doing it in the first place.

Yeah, I never had to evict a family. Most of the people in the apartment building were single. It wasn't gentrified yet and was in a quasi-sketchy neighborhood so the rents were relatively low. The biggest pains were loud, inconsiderate tenants (one who set up a full drum set in their living room and proceeded to turn in building into a drum echo chamber); another who moved out but upon leaving gave the keys to his buddies who tried to squat there and had to be removed by the police. When they left I went in to inspect and it was totally empty and barren except for a crate of oranges in the middle of the living room floor. Weird. Then there was the constant graffitti cleanup, constant maintenance, and tenants who did things like paint their walls black (without permission). It's almost impossible to return a black wall to white. The condo that I'm landlord for now of course doesn't have all the problems the apartment building did, but every time I turn around there's more maintenance that needs doing.

You seem to me a kind and industrious person who is figuring themselves out. I also get the impression that you wouldn't know how to lie even if you absolutely had to.
I do know how to lie. Very very well. I actually had a problem that i had to work through therapy for lying compulsively and for no reason.. But I try not to these days and have worked through that issue to the best of my ability

In general

You come across as a kind person who goes out of their way to explain things in discussions. While I admire that and am finding myself wishing you the best, I can't always fully relate with your experiences all of the time. Although we both have gender dysphoria, my perspective is from being assigned male at birth (AMAB), which differs from your journey as an assigned female at birth (AFAB) person a bit. One thing I did find cool, though, was when we were both into paganism. And I liked how you once pointed out how a lot of things were considered magic, including wishing on a birthday cake candle.

I don't think badly of you, by the way.

Now I can't figure out whether the above is a lie!

(Just kidding. I'm glad you have a therapist with whom you can bring up and address such issues.)

Speaking trans stuff I have a thread in mind that ill make when im not tired from my period(I've been on it due to birth control since the 17th and barely have the energy to do much as a result)...heres the idea...imma write about my experiences being trans and nonbinary, including some ways it relates to spirituality as for me they intersect strongly.

@JustGeorge has offered to help me with said thread. Regarding wording stuff.

Edit: that is a bit off topic tho. So imma not elaborate.

Sounds cool.

My first impression of you was that I found your interest in the horror genre to be a potential commonality between us.

My current impression of you is that you have a remarkably just and fair character, which I think comes across quite clearly in your posts and your moderation habits.

Inspired by @SalixIncendium's thread: What was your first impression of me, what is the current one, and how do the two compare?

I'm often quite interested in the finer details of interactions between people, so feel free to share your thoughts in detail if you want.
As I say to all staff, I like you a lot. However your highly articulate, reasoned and erudite posting in what is not your first language is frankly disconcerting, but I'll probably get over it. Respect.
