Stay away from gang areas for sure, they could kill you, seriously.
That's general advice for pretty much everyone.
And, truly, the worst that has happened to me so far is someone cat called me, which isn't even a thing exclusive to trans people.

I don't know of any case where transgender marriage is long term, except in their imaginations.
Not all of us are hiding away at night, miserable, and without love. Your experiences suck and are unfortunate, but you're projecting your own experiences onto an entire community. Yes, even "till death do us part" is something some of us do know. It does no good to think we're all miserable because you are.

You really think that all trans people are these sad tragic figures. Stop pulling us all down because some bad things happened to you in life. It's not our fault so stop taking it out on us.

That's most of the places I've lived in life. Gangs are rife throughout poor areas, whether in the inner city where you get minority gangs or rural areas where you get white gangs. It's a class issue more than anything else. There's many poor black trans women living in the ghetto. Trans people are highly disproportionately likely to be poor, anyway, with non-white trans people having poverty rates around 40%.

Yup. I've met several who are happily married, gainfully employed, and very happy in life. As far as my own life goes, my various medical conditions like IBS and my undiagnosed crap cause me a million times more grief than being trans. And were I'm at, we meet a few times a month, in a busy, hopin', trendy part of downtown, and at night. Sometimes we even go out after that. Sure, there are ********, things happen, but the general consensus of the group I go to is life is great and we don't have it that bad. Even among those who have careers as professionals, they weren't fired, people accept them, and things are going very well for them at their jobs. Not every thing is perfect, of course, and we still have our struggles and hardships, but it's completely the opposite of the "doom and gloom" some transgender people talk about.
