Its...fun for about 2 minutes....then its just cold.

Still it does cover up the uglier sides of town quite nicely.
Please tell me you are not one of those depressive looking British youth I see on the tube who look like a cross between Edward scissorhands and Robert Smith :cover:

Well I am 34 going on 94 so possibly not...still I do have an innocent youthful visage and all my own hair...and most of my teeth.

I am not so much depressive on the tube...more...lackadaisical.

Second Sabbath dinner at London, blessed red wine, braided bread, lit candles, and a small Christmas tree:

My big plans for today were overcome by handicapped transportation and thick snow. I do see a couple of kids having a ball with the snow in the park near our house though. I guess I'm going to play the housewife today.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
I'm jealous, you guys. It's 35 degrees F here in (1 degree C) and bright and sunny - as usual. The big Texas sky is a brilliant blue, and the wind is whipping cheerfully. The high today will be about 54 degrees F (13 C) and continued bright sky and sun.

Sounds nice, huh? And it IS nice, so why am I jealous? Because it's CHRISTMAS TIME and I'd like some Christmassy weather! We don't get that too often, though we usually do get one or two snowfalls a year here - usually in January-March (though I've also sunbathed in February here so you never can tell!).

The forecast for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day here is sunny and balmy. Grrr! It varies a lot year to year. Some years Christmas is very cold - it has been the past several years, in fact - and I prefer it that way.

Texans like to say that we DO have four seasons here - Almost Summer, Summer, Still Summer, and Christmas.
