Flavored Soft Drinks

Cherry and Vanilla. Lemon and Lime. Gosh just when you couldn't imagine your soft drink getting any better they go ahead and add even more variety. While looking for a pic of bacon for another thread I found this:

After spending about 30 minutes laughing so hard that it started to hurt, it seems that they actually test marketed this stuff in California for a while, or at least that's what people are saying. Now, I am very open about new foods, but I do think that to try this I would have to be tricked into it. Thoughts?

I bought chocolate with bacon in it once. It wasn't horrible, but it was kind of weird. I didn't really care for it. John liked it.

I know quite a few boys who would LOVE this! An ex of mine used to roll joints with bacon flavored rolling papers.

Bacon flavoured diet coke? That sounds very "american."
I like vanilla coke and vanilla dr. pepper.

Once in Toronto at the Duke of York pub, I bought a pepsi
and they put a lemon wedge and a lime wedge on the glass.
That was pretty cool.

Im not surprised because they make bacon ice cream.It sounds disgusting to me but I know some people like to sprinkle salt on their watermelon so I imagine its similar to that.My son told me also there is a maple baccon frappuccino served in a resturant in California.

One of my sisters told me one of her favorite flavors is dipping her french fries in vanilla ice cream.

I love chocolate with sea salt. The sweet-salty thing is very nice. But chocolate with bacon has a sweet-savory taste that I don't like nearly as much.

Ya know now that I think about it if you like maple bacon its sweet and salty..

Also I go through cravings when I want someting pickled and salty and I follow that straight up with chocolate or something real sugary like jelly beans.

Also I like to smear my bacon around in syrup if Im having that with pancakes.

My grandmother used to make us kids sandwiches with buttered toast, peanut butter, grape jelly and bacon. That was some good stuff!

And I do love vanilla Coke - tastes sort of like a Coke float.

Speaking of bacon, we ate at Johnny Carino's last night and I had that fabulous wedge salad, with the gorgonzola cheese dressing, granny smith apple slices, pecans, tomatoes, and lots of bacon - DAMN that's some good eatin'!
