Flynn is out - one down

Conservatives were certainly crying all 8 years of Obama's presidency. Either you've been living under a rock or you're being intentionally obtuse.
Pot, kettle.

Not even the same ballpark. The last 8 years have been pretty boring really. No riots, protests, sedition or terrorism from the right that I can recall.

You couldn't make the Trump Presidency up.
The comedy writers must be thinking it is Christmas, it's just worrying that it is real.

Expect a 'Look over there' story from the White House soon.
I'm pretty sure somebody forgot to tell Trump this isn't a reality show.

I'm not at all surprised there are Trump supporters who don't recall the Tea Party protests, or birther movement or the daily Fox News meltdowns calling Obama a fascist or that he received more death threats than any other president in history or the claim of Sandy Hook being a false flag to take people's guns or...shall I go on?

Expecting any Trump supporter who uses the above rationale to have any sort of integrity or be objective is asking for too much I guess.

I'll wager that Trump is setting new records for incurring death threats.

There's still plenty of time to catch up, of course.

Point being again though, that certain people adamantly claiming conservatives weren't crying en masse over Obama's presidency is a demonstrable pile of horsepucky.

Every election has unhappy losers.
But this one seems to be a record setter for weeping.
I hope they recover soon.

Perhaps, or perhaps you're paying more attention to it this time around since it's an opposing viewpoint.
It's always an opposing viewpoint for me.
The only difference this time is that I voted for one of the candidates I oppose.
So, no.....tis quite clear that this election resulted in more crying, wringing of hands, & even violence than usual.

I give it about six more months.
Then we will start complaining about President Pence.
I don't know if that's being optimistic or pessimistic.
But I don't see anything to bring Trump down.
Allegations fly, but substance is lacking.
And he doesn't seem the fragile snowflake type....one to just give up.

I wouldn't bet big money on this because most of the congressional Republicans are being remarkably silent about this.

BTW, just imagine for one second what their reactions would be if Hillary was president and had done the same thing.

Seriously I am not putting money on it, this is not really a prediction I am making. But on the other hand, I would not be surprised. I really do think there is a lot more to this Russian connection. And I do think it is possible that some Republicans in Congress do know it, and are not happy about it. And I think there are some in the intelligence community that are not happy to have a President in the pocket of Putin. This does not end with Flynn. What Flynn did was illegal, but trivial compared to what I think is really going on. This has a lot more to do with Tillerson, and it will come out. When it will come out, I am not really sure, but it will come out.

Are you kidding?!! I have never see a bigger cry baby. It has only been three weeks and he is coming apart. I have never seen a President complain more about SNL. And we shouldn't be surprised about this, we have seen how much he cried about Rosie O'Donnell, or Bill Maher. He can't handle the fact that his wishes are subject to judicial review, or Congressional approval. He is a whinny toddler.

Would you please sight what law General Flynn violated and please site a "legal" argument by a "legal" expert. Not your or others "opinions".

I agree, although I'm not too sure that Tillerson was directly involved even though he does have strong Russian connections. And listening to some discussions last night and this morning leads me to agree with you in that I don't think that this is hardly over.

One big question is why did Trump sit on this for weeks without making a move on Flynn, but I think another that may be much more serious is did Flynn actually act on his own when calling on the day that Obama issued the sanctions? I have difficulty believing that Flynn did this without prompting from Trump.

As CEO of Exxon Tillerson negotiated a 500 billion dollar trade deal with Russia. The sanctions that Obama put in place would seriously interfere with that deal. So then we get Flynn talking to the Russians to assure them that those sanctions will be removed and we have Tillerson becoming Secretary of State. It seems inconceivable to me that Tillerson is not involved in a serious way.

You might well be right.
