Font used for titles too hard to read

After the latest upgrade of the site format, the new font used for the titles of thread on the new threads area and some other places is light grey instead of black and very hard to read on my computer, this is really annoying and a simple thing to fix, simply use a black font like this one instead of the light grey font they are using, I already complained in the site feedback thread and they did nothing, is this a problem for other people or am I the only one????

Actually, Lyndon, I think the titles -- at least as they appear on my computer have been made a little bit darker since the upgrade, but perhaps they could use yet some darkening.

Haven't changed since the upgrade, when I first complained. On my screen, still really hard to read. This font in the threads is black not grey and really easy to read, why can't they just use that.

You can actually get specs at the dollar store now. I have no problem reading the text actually. I see your age (still younger than me). Your eyes are probably shot. Mine went after 40.

it has nothing to do with my eyes, it has to do with how faint the font is on my computer, I will admit that it may not be a problem for everyone's screen like it is for mine, but mine is a standard new Hewlett Packard model, and your fonts should be made to work on every computer screen, not just ones that are easy to read.

It is a problem, but not for Revoltingest. How do we become more like him?

Its already making pictures too dark, adjusting for darker screen is just going to make that worse.

Using MS Paint this is the color and value of the title letters that appears on my screen, "Color Solid"

Move your arrow halfway towards the top and that is about what I am seeing, light grey.

The titles look just fine to me. Time to get a new display or graphics card perhaps?

I'm talking about the Titles in the new threads section on the top right of the page. not the titles of the individual threads as above which are black not grey
