Being a grumpy old man, I can appreciate the resistance to change. Thing is, we have an awesome owner now.

I have the utmost respect for our current owner and founder of RF.

Yes things are not optimal now, but it is just temporary.

Repeat after me........IT WILL GET BETTER.

Familiarity is the key to feeling at home in this weird new place. My trick? Post a lot, & explore. Jump in...the water's fine!
As for the new owner....he looks like he'd be very tasty.

I just finally discovered the watch un-watch button,

I will add some positives here - the new quote feature, allowing you to simply selecting part of someone's words, is amazing!

My favorite is the new 'Destroy the city' feature.

You're a true renaissance man, iti. I can now log off in peace!
Glad to help buddy!! Let me know if you have any other questions. I got a pretty go handle on the new features and format.

I think why some people are frustrated is that, although they may be able to track their posts and threads since the change over, finding their older posts and threads from before the changeover is another thing. Not quite so easy to do. Not a mere click away like they were before. Those are the lost threads and conversations people are talking about having to go searching for.

Go to "watched threads" under the bottom of the list is an "all threads" button, its small and faint. Click on it and everything thread you posted on pops up.

To find a list of all your posts, ever, click on your name at the top of the page and then click on "my content"

further more, if people are not seeing things on watched threads, recent posts , etc its cause it has not got any activity.
