Unless you are out in the snow or walking around diseased pheces, shoes are unnecessary.
The american academy of pediatrics task force says it does not affect sexual performance in any way.
Your daughter cut her foot on glass did she not? And have you ever walked out side for any length of time in say 28/ 30 degree weather no snow with no shoes? Its quite painful after about 5 minutes. And you don't have to be "walking in snow" to get frost bite either. How about hot asphalt? You would let your 4 year old or heck 12 year walk across a parking lot when its 100+ degrees outside? You don't think that would burn the bottom of their feet?Because I know it does mine just on a concrete driveway or sidewalk. And besides that..there are plenty of shoes made that are supportive that do not cause 'deformity" ..As a matter of fact sandals..the cheap ones that you mention with no insole are horrible for your feet...go talk to an orthopedic surgeon if don't believe me.
Its ridiculous to suggest shoes are not necessary for a large % of the population for there protection and comfort...
I stepped on a toothpick one time walking down a carpeted hotel hallway..It went halfway in my foot..it was very painful AND I started to get an infection because the bacteria that would be on a used toothpick my body wasn't liking..and I had to get a tetnus booster for extra protection ..I was running through grass at about 14 and I stepped on something I don't know for sure what it was but it split open the bottom of my foot and meat was hanging out....My 3 yo at the time picked up a bar bell and dropped it on his bare foot toe ...split it wide open ..same toe oddly he had in a split second pulled and and dropped a pyrex pot on about a year before and again ..emergency room visit ..they tied him down and scrubbed in while he screamed in agony.....my husband was diasembling a water bed (barefoot) he dropped it..on his toes..It litterally ripped he toenail of (split open the nail bed that had to be stiched(under the nail) and broke several bones in that same toe..Those are just my few stories..wearing shoes would have given added protection at least..and even prevented the injuries...
So the men that say it does are lying?
I would bet a lot more damage has been done by shoes than by circumsicion.
Try sandals, they wont deform feet. I know I ve run barefoot and spend all the time inside house barefoot and my feet feel all well.
Well Im glad you would "bet that" but how much MORE damage would be done to our feet if we did not wear shoes?
The ONLY damage that i am aware of to my feet by shoes? Is wearing high heels..or shoes that were too tight or had "pointed" toes..However my parents did not put those shoes on me when I was an infant /toddler /or child..I chose as an adult to wear shoes that were bad for my feet just for asthetic reasons. As an infant I was put in socks to keep my feet warm..i was born in January in cold weather..When I started walking my mother bought me soft leather walking shoes made for children (stride rights) my age to protect my feet.
Trust me I wear sandals..I live in Texas..i also go barefoot at all times in my home. And?
The difference is though..I have a CHOICE to wear shoes or not wear shoes..My mother didn't permanently put shoes on me when I was 1 day old.
Thats good for you. A lot of parents do put shoes on their children from very young ages though and they develop problems they cant take back when they are actually able to take their shoes off.
Well be a "stop putting shoes on your infants feet" advocate. That has nothing to do with chopping off a male infants foreskin when he is a day old.Different subject.
It is way more damaging and it happens for aesthetic/cultural reasons.
Show that its "way more damaging" and show shoes are for primarily aesthetic cultural reasons?
Also show where adults by majority choose not to wear shoes because they believe its wrong.
We know it deforms the penis or makes it different than how it would be, just like wearing shoes do to the feet.
the benefit to wearing shoes far outweighs not wearing shoes. Not so with any evidence of permanently mutating and infants genitals.
Also if you look it up...you will find plenty of stories of men who resent being circumsized as infants...as well as before and after stories of men who got circumsized as adults who regret it mostly due to loss of sensitivity. The foreskin(for one) acts as a barrier to protect the glans from becoming "tough" from rubbing up against clothing. One man described it as similar to his fingers becoming calloused from playing his guitar as far as the difference in sensitivity before and after.
Just because nobody here on this thread is complaining does not mean that its right to make that decision for an infant.A lot of these men talk about how the sensitivity is lost over TIME....
I guess these men are **** out of luck because the parents had a 'right" to decide they didn't need their foreskin...
If you regret being circumcised post here
I wonder about Michael Angelo's "David" The statue is shown Uncircumcised.
I wonder why? when David was a Jew.
Thinking about it, I have never seen a ancient world circumcised statue or of Putti or painting. so it seems heavenly beings are not circumcised either.
