Foreplay a sin?

I know most christians take sex before marriage to be sin. How about foreplay with no penetration between two singles? Any bible quotes?

Does it hinder you from entering the "Kingdom of God", so to speak? If yes, then it's a sin.

For some people, it is a sin. For others, it isn't.

But, the key here is, "between two singles". Then, it's no good; sexual activity must be between people who are together, who truly love each other.

but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Matt 5:28

And your talking about actual touching which is way past the thought only.

Not sure if I get what you mean. Committing adultery in the heart is sin (which all humans do). And then, there is actual touching which is way pass the thought is not sin?

The gospel of Phillip suggest Jesus had a relationship of sorts with Mary Magdalene, and that Mary was his favourite disciple.

Mary Magdalene - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It is also suggested in medieval times that she was his concubine.

Maybe even Jesus liked friends with benefits.:D

Common law couples who are not legally married, who truly love each other - their sexual activity (foreplay included) is sin?

Does it prevent them from reaching God? Then it's a sin.

If it doesn't, then it's alright.

What's sin and what isn't is not determined by a computer, you know.

What you are talking about here is heavy petting, not foreplay.

I rather doubt sex is ever a sin in itself, However it can corrupt deprave and cause hurt and harm. These most certainly are sins.

I am sure you know perfectly well where you want and expect this to lead. So you also know if it is sinful.
