My boy plays it constantly, I enjoy watching him play he is sh*t hot at it. However I don't play it myself. More a strategic war gamer myself. Dawn of War, Medieval Total War, Star Craft, Dark Reign, Sins of a Solar Empire etc...
However I do love Skyrim...that game is awesome.
My XBox handle is TetanicZeus btw. If in future we find a game we can all play.

I play endless space 2, that's a great 4x space strat game, although there is a hole lot more micromanagement than Starcraft. Same with Galactic Civilizations. although I do enjoy the ship designing aspect of that game. But in Endless Space you can reconfigure all the modules in on all the space craft, so there is that.
Also my usual handle is too long which is Testicular Defibrillation.

I play with my son and his buddies some when he's at his mother's. But I'm not a "gamer" per se so I'm not going to share my handle here. It's just something we do together.
I will say it's a fun game and the allure of the play style explains it's massive popularity.
