'FOUL' Language

mrscardero

Kal-El's Mama
I use FOUL language when carrdero is playing a video game like Grand Theft Auto.
I tell him to go left and when he goes right I say, "Not your *beep* right. Your *beep*
left. Why don't you *beep* listen to me? *beep* son of a *beep*! Then I tell him how
much I love him. :D

You get rest. I am really bad when it comes to video games. Out there? No. I don't use
foul language. It's not nice to use in public :tsk: . Only in my own home or private. Like
when I have to curse because I had a really horrible day at work. I get in my car, drive
home and curse all I want and no one can hear me.

I still feel that I curse more than I should. I am trying to cut down on it and substitute other words because my daughter picks up on things very easily. I had to tell her other ways to say things that are more appropriate and I have begun to use the same variations.

Instead of F* I say Flip, flippin, fliphead. I try to say darn. Jack*ss became Jackbutt. My favorite though is my substitution for SOB.... Son of a biscuit biter from heck.

I did swear like a sailor and still lapse into it if something unexpected happens but I`m getting much better because of the presence of my kids, the youngest one especially.

You have to watch everything.
My wife was driving the other day and had to stop quickly because she was cut off by another car.

The 4 year old in the carseat yelled "moron!!"

My wife just looked at me in the worst way, she knows the little one got that from me.

I'm much better than I was in my 20's. Driving is my downfall though. The filth that comes out of my mouth when I'm in traffic could almost qualify as its own language.

A fool
Well I do limit my vocabulary when Im in a situation where Im likely to get into trouble for it but I don't like the fact that I feel I have to do so. I see no reason why I shouldn't swear and so I do because it just comes naturally to me.

I see a big difference between the words themselves and the effect which you are trying to make those words have. Swear words fill the positions of many other words in a wide variety of situations and do not have to be offensive. Which would go for almost any word. So it irritates me when I make an exclamation with some colourful language and somebody has a go at me for it simply because I just see that has close mindedness and not thinking through the reasoning behind the feelings.

Where do swear words come from, anyway? Who came up with the f word? And why isn't crap a bad word but s*** is?

I swear under my breath all the time, but I'm trying to break myself of the habit.

I can't help using 'FOUL' language. In all honesty I like the words I use, and I use them all the time. I can't understand why some words are 'foul'. It makes no fecking sense at all.

Gotta think quick in times like those.. Look back at your wife and say in this order,

1) He said move on . That was funny you thought he said moron didn't you? Almost sounded like that.

2) Wow you look beatiful today.....did you do something to your hair? Something is different about you. :D
