I'm sorry that y'all thought that I'm a mindless idiot driven on purporting the corruption of one news network. I'm just not particularly fond of Fox network and the many questionable things they have done.

The way I'm being of accused of not seeing the 'corruption' in the other networks is silly. Did I even once mention any other networks that I support? Have I lent my opinion to any others. No, because I know that they all have problems, I just see the most problems with Fox News.

 Peace out y'all.

Well, in the spirit of Bill O'Reilly, I'll let you have the last word.

really? you would say that shutting down a local investigative report on milk that would have run on a single florida news station to avoid a lawsuit is as bad as say, using faked war documents in a national broadcast to try to affect a presidential election?

I would have to disagree with you on that one.

What would you say is the single most dastardly thing that Fox has done?

No news network has just one.

I know, but I didn't think it would be possible to talk about all of them so I thought we could just consider the very worst thing and compare it with what other networks have done since you said Fox was the worst of them all...

I never said 'worst' as I'm sure there is more horrible ones out there. I just see the most problems with Fox News, and yes, that is a copout for the time being. I have school in a few hours. Need to get to sleep. I'll answer tomorrow if I don't have too much homework, please remind me. :)

CNN reported that overall, 85% of Iraq is safe. I wonder if that's 85% of a one foot radius?

using faked war documents in a national broadcast to try to affect a presidential election?

The difference being Dan Rather was pushed out by CBS and put to shame. Fox still accomodates liars like Ann Coulter and Bill O'Reilly ("Equal number of liberals and conservatives watching" is an easy claim when liberals are anyone left of whacky Coulter)

It's just that Fox really drives people crazy because they are openly conservative. Where as CNN, which is openly liberal is viewed as a bastion of truth and virtue. The cultural hypocrisy amongst liberals isn't a reflection on you, but the thread got a lot of great responses from liberals who love nothing more than hating conservatives and conservative media. It's the uproar and hoopla that I find amusing. I do not think of your as mindless. Though, I do think you are overreacting to Fox News.

If CNN and MSNBC are the exact opposites of Fox, then why do their hosts denounce people like Rosie O'Donnel (seen as the counter-part to Ann Coulter)? It's because they at least attempt to keep neutral. Also, Microsoft is one of the biggest contributers to the Republican Party.

CNN's reporters and hosts may slant left, but they keep to the middle rail whenever they can (excluding Beck and Dobbs, who are, *surprise,* a conservative and a populist ;) ).

And this is coming from someone who watches Red Eye and Fox & Friends. :D

Does this disgust you as much as it disgusts me? What bothers me the most is where I work, the only station we can watch is Faux (because it's the 'best' news). This is frustrating; the people aren't hearing this because they believe the lies that FOX News spreads. Is there anything we can do? Anything?

Ah yes. Great clip from the movie The Corporation. Highly recommended viewing for everyone--liberal, moderate, conservative, and libertarian.
