Freemasonry

My opinion is that there are too many anonymous people on this forum who are only on this forum in order to cause trouble, from the safety of gutless anonymity.

I have no way of judging who anybody here is, let alone their claimed qualifications for commenting on the internal affairs of The Grand Lodge of All England, at York.

Posting #1

I can't help those who cannot read plain English.

The nameless Moderns here, and their nameless plants and apologists, gate crash my welcome thread in order to talk complete tosh and nonsense about an organisation that is of absolutely no concern to them.

I am here to let you know about this private Grand Lodge.

Let them tell you who and what THEY are on their own thread whwr they can say what they want and where I may completely ignore them.

It actually does concern us 'nameless plants' as you claim that everyone else is just plain wrong and you make it seem like your group is officiated. I think things just needed to be cleared up.
Just your Grand Lodge name alone - The Grand Lodge of All England, perhaps you should have called yourselves the Grand Lodge of just York (and no one else).

What business is this of yours? Who the hell do you think you are to tell the legal, rightful owners of something that is 1083 years old to change its name because you don't like it?

Get used to it. The laws of England, Europe and America are completely on our side in this. You are subject to these laws the same as anyone else.

I doubt that 'masonic law' is on your side. You can call yourself whatever you damn well please, I was merely making a suggestion and pointing out that really, you are not the Grand Lodge of All England (going by Regular Masonic Rules and Regulations).

Perhaps I hit a sore spot here?

Your group is only 4 years old if that, how do you claim ancient linegage. You have claim in name only, you cannot claim history that does not belong to your group. That would be like if I started the Hasshassin in Australia and claimed that since it was in the Middle East around the same time as the Templar's and crusades I have claim to their history.

You can roll a piece of sh*t in gold but in the end, it is still a piece of sh*t.

(I am not calling your group a sh*t I was just coining a phrase).

I don't believe you. You are just an anonymous succession of letters to me.

You could be anybody or anything. I can't even call you a "good fellow" because you could be the Yorkshire Ripper with a few minutes to spare, rolling his face on the Broadmoor library's PC keyboard.

Why should anybody listen to you?
Surely you are not serious. It is a tad worrisome to see someone so fixated on the illustrious U.G.L.E. that they see them lurking under every rock.

Congratulations at destroy the remaining sheds of credibility you may have once had.

To Grandsecretary.
I may have been a little too insulting but I am just responding the same way you have responded to me.

If you are willing to have a normal debate with resulting to insults and childish behvaiour I would be willing to do the same.

More UGLE propoganda that has absolutely no basis in fact. You are either mistaken or a congenital liar. I hope that it is the former.

Our Grand Lodge dates from time immemorial, and English Law, European Law, American Law, Masonic Law and jurisprudence are all on our side in this matter, and I can prove it.

I need answers to a couple of questions. I appreciate that you wish to remain anonymous so that you can speak irresponsibly without fear of retribution in the public domain, andd so I am not asking you to tell us who you are (your name and address).

But would you please tell us what your authority is for making such outrageous claims?

1) Do you claim to be a freemason?
2) If you do, where are you a freemason (a country will do)?
3) Which Masonic authority provided your Grand Lodge with its Charter?
4) Which Authority granted that Grand Lodge with authority to issue Charters?

Answer these and I can respond to you.

While I am about it, would you please try to moderate your language. We are on a religious forum here and therefore there must be many here who are offended by such things. I certainly am.

I am not fixated on them. I spend my life trying to ignore them but THEY insist on sticking their noses in where they are not welcome and certainly not invited.

Now if you don't like reading what I am saying you are free to go elsewhere.

Lets agree to this.

1) I will answer your questions, to prove my statements and claims and although you may not like the answers you will not resort to rudeness and filthy language.

2) You will answer my questions to prove your statements and claims.

That is what a debate is. It is not a one way conversation.

Everyone please address your posts to the topic in the OP and lets see if we can do it without the name calling and personal insults from here on in.

the OP is a statement, a disclaimer

as such there is nothign to debate.

Other than the claims therein.... which really there are none that can lead to any discussion. Kind of like saying:

My name is Bob
I come from Glasgow
I have a pink teddy bear
I dont believe in blue teddy bears.

The end

 maybe I am confused

This is our aim. It was minuted as the aim in the Crypt of York Minster at the revival of The Grand Lodge of All England on the 23rd December 2005.

"In accordance with The Constitutions of Masonrie, to reclaim Anglo-Saxon Free Masonrie to its rightful owners, the true Free Masons of England."
It seems to me that the aim is a moot point. If the GLAE needed reviving in 2005, it stands to reason that it has been dead since before the ale-house meeting in question. Therefore, being dead, the GLAE has dropped the Masonic "baton." Another group has picked up the Masonic "baton" and continued the relay-race. You don't get to drop out of the race for hundreds of years, then all of a sudden make a claim that you're the only runner in the race, when the race has clearly been running quite well without you all this time.

Just to assist the religious debate, this is but a partial list of those Churches and Faiths which have officially condemned, as a matter of policy and doctrine, Freemasonry per se, as being "a new Naturalistic Religion" incompatible with their beliefs:

Islam
Roman Catholics
Anglicans
Methodists
Baptists
Russian Orthodox
Presbyterians
Church of Scotland
Free Church of Scotland
Wesleyan Methodist Church
Assemblies of God
Christian Reformed Church of America
Lutherans

The Roman Catholic church automatically excommunicates Freemasons. The Islamic world bans Freemasonry and punishes Freemasons by seizure of property and assets, imprisonment and/or execution by public hanging.
Odd. Very odd. I know many Freemasons who are Anglican, Methodist, Presbyterian and Lutheran. And they are in good standing with their churches -- in many cases taking positions of lay leadership, or being members of the clergy.:sarcastic
Wonder how that could happen, if those bodies condemned Freemasonry?

THE MASONS AT IT AGAIN.

MILLION HIT BY 'PLAGUE WORSE THAN SWINE FLU'

Daily Express
Sunday November 15,2009
By Greg Miskiw

A DEADLY plague could sweep across Europe, doctors fear, after an outbreak of a virus in Ukraine plunged the country and its neighbours into a state of panic.

A cocktail of three flu viruses are reported to have mutated into a single pneumonic plague, which it is believed may be far more dangerous than swine flu. The death toll has reached 189 and more than 1 million people have been infected, most of them in the nine regions of Western Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko has called in the World Health Organisation and a team of nine specialists are carrying out tests in Kiev and Lviv to identify the virus. Samples have been sent to London for analysis.

President Yushchenko said: “People are dying. The epidemic is killing doctors. This is absolutely inconceivable in the 21st Century.”

In a TV interview, the President added: “Unlike similar epidemics in other countries, three causes of serious viral infections came together simultaneously in Ukraine – two seasonal flus and the Californian flu

“Virologists conclude that this combination of infections may produce an even more aggressive new virus as a result of mutation.”

Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has been touring hospitals where victims are being treated and presidential elections in January could be cancelled .

Four men and one woman have died from the flu in Lviv, said emergency hospital chief doctor Myron Borysevych. Two of the dead patients were in the 22-35 age group, with two others over 60. He diagnosed the disease as viral pneumonia.

“We have sent the analyses to Kiev. We don’t believe it’s H1N1 swine flu. Neither do we know what kind of pneumonia it is.”

Universities, schools and kindergartens have been closed, public meetings have been banned and theatres shut. Last week several border crossings in the country were also closed.

Last night reports emerged of profiteering over face masks, which have sold out since the outbreak. There are also incidents of anti-virus medication being sold for exorbitant prices. A spokesman for the World Health Organisation said: “We do not have a time scale for the results of the tests in London, although some preliminary results have been obtained. I cannot tell you what they are.

“We did not have enough of the virus samples so we will have to grow some more before we can come to a conclusive decision about its nature.”

Neighbouring Poland has called on the EU to take action, fearing the mystery virus may spread westwards.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk has written to European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso and the Swedish Prime Minister, Fredrik Reinfeldt, who holds the EU presidency, saying: “The character of this threat demands that rapid action be undertaken at the European Union level.”

Russia, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Romania, countries that border Ukraine, have already launched health checks on Ukrainians entering their territory.

Slovakia has closed two of five border crossings.

A doctor in Western Ukraine who did not want to be named, said:” We have carried out post mortems on two victims and found their lungs are as black as charcoal.

“They look like they have been burned. It’s terrifying
.”
