I came from my parents made from recycled atoms, (possibly including the atoms of long dead people)... No guess involved there.

Where will i go? The crematorium. From there it's not me but the aroms that made me.

The 1st law of thermodynamics tells me my atoms will go on forever. They will be recycled as i was and go to enrich the earth, the plants, etc and yes, even future humans. In that way we are all made of dead people.

Looking even further ahead our sun will die, the atoms of my body may go on to help create other suns other planets, other life or just float in space for ever.

Where i go is something of a guess, thermodynamics tells me i will go but not where i will go.

Can't remember anything much before the age of 2, which thankfully includes no memory of conception, nor what came before it. I suspect that's where I'll return to.

Man SUCHT nicht, sondern man geht seinen eigenen spirituellen Weg.
Entweder allein, oder man schließt sich einer "Gruppe" an.
Erfahrungen, die man diesbezüglich macht, sind zu hinterfragen und
für sich selbst sinnvoll auslegbar.
Nichts ist grundsätzlich zu verallgemeinern, aber mit den richtigen Leuten
kann man drüber reden.
Anfang und Ende bleiben unklar. Es ist ein WEG um zu VERSTEHEN,
was nicht wiederholbar oder wissenschaftlich nachweisbar ist.
Es ist nur von Nutzen für DEN, der diesen Weg geht.........................
Und evtl. kann man dadurch die Frage des WOHER und WOHIN für sich
selbst auf Dauer lösen. Ich weiß es aber nicht. Habe aber auf jeden Fall einen besseren,
sehr eigenen Gesamtüberblick über Alles.

Im "übertragenden Sinne" ist das sogar richtig .
Du kannst es aber nur bestätigen, wenn Du es auch ERFAHREN hast.
Man MEINT immer , DAS es so ist, aber steckt auch eine "reale"
Erfahrung dahinter ?
NORMAL.......KANN das keiner beantworten und wenn DOCH ?
Ist er bestimmt auf dem nur für IHN richtigen Weg !!!!

Your question is specifically aimed at a certain category of person. So one needs to make explicit the terms of the category so that one can determine if the question is appropriate for a person to answer.

Search where? Am I supposed to delve into every religious belief and choose the one that appeals to me most? And searching to what depth for each belief system? Science seems to explain quite satisfactorily as to where I have come from - parents, genes, evolution and such. As to where I might go to - well I haven't come across enough evidence as to anything coming after death, apart from dust to dust, ashes to ashes, and where every atom just gets reused.

I have a hard time accepting that something as complex as the mind/brain could survive death - given it took so long to form and the person being so dependent upon the output of the mind. In my view, sleeping (most nights) is the training ground for life-after-death - that is, nothing to report. o_O

No reason to search or look. It's not like things actually come and go. It's more like rising and falling.
