what are the frubals on this forum, ive seen some people with tons and some with just a few what are they for, sorry if this is a stupid question

You are supposed to give frubals to those people whom make a post that you really agree with or find insightful... this serves to recognise their contribution to the forum.
Those people with TONS of frubals probably benefited from the old system whereby people could give extremely large amounts of frubals to one another... the new system only allows people to give either none or a single frubal to those people they want. Therefore the number of frubals people have can be extremely unreliable and does not really serve to illustrate much other than whether the person is an old member or a relatively new member (i.e. if they were a member before or after the new frubal system was introduced)

Frubals were the gift exchange economy of the forum. Before the system was abused and a frubal inflation was created. It largely happened when people abandoned the original purpose of frubals, which was to commend an exceptional post with a positive feedback and instead created frubal-cliques or frubal prostitution where they literally begged for frubals by creating threads with no intellectual content but instead with a declared purpose of 'frubal-whoring'.what are the frubals on this forum, ive seen some people with tons and some with just a few what are they for, sorry if this is a stupid question

Uhmmm...I'd like to individually select my own frubals, please -- none of these guess what's in the package and find out AFTER you buy it sort of deals.
I want frubals from clearly well-thought out posts, wherein indisputable facts have been presented by you -- where your post did not contain any use of passive voice -- and that resulted in a jolly, good-natured chuckle combined with an epiphany of total enlightenment on the part of the reader -- if that's not too much to ask.

I do not consider frubals to be fungible things. I consider them to be specific and to forever retain both the motivation behind the post, and the expression of good-will (I'll call it love, but you don't have to -- if that makes you uncomfortable) that was contained within the motivation for sharing them.
