Sure, why not
It just seems weird to me. When someone tells me they're gay, why do I need to question it? It's their business. Is someone in the closet? Again it's their business. I don't really have anything to do with it. I'm not really in the equation. Why insert myself and be a busy body?

Umm maybe like 5- 10%?
Having a portion of the population not be interested in “mating” for one reason or another (being gay or even asexual) is a legitimate survival strategy in a social species, as is my understanding. It’s like a natural population control.
I think society wanted humans to be more “binary” in their sexual orientation. Even after gay acceptance became like a thing. This forced people to choose one or the other. Forcing the hand of bisexual and other sexualities into the background.
But I’m no socialist so idk. That’s just my guess lol

I noticed the title too.
But I guess there might be some questions that one could come up. For example, how many people actually felt gay when Johnny came marching home? How many people don their gay apparel at Christmastime? And what about the gay 90s? We need answers to this and other pointless questions.
