I agree, but what easily recognizable leader of these faiths will stand up and denounce it? If someone that nobody had ever even heard of stood up for them, nobody would listen anyway. I, personally, stand up for them on forums and stuff but I admit that it would take an easily recognizable leader to denounce it and make it more well known.

I think your speaking out against them is noble, Holly - and in my opinion, it is the duty of EVERY person of those religions to speak out - not just the recognizable leaders. If entire congregations of Christians at churches around the nation spoke out against the likes of Fred Phelps, it would go a long way toward establishing credibility. The same is true for these Muslim clerics that are so obviously on a political mission.
