I don't know if anyone noticed but finally someone on RF had the guts to tackle two subjects, that hitherto now everyone was too polite to approach.

I voted for atheists. Actually I like a lot of the atheists I've met, but I've personally been treated more rudely by atheists than I have by gays. I pretty much stand up for gays, so there is no reason for any of them to be rude to me. To me, "evil" is relative, and I realize the poll was more or less a joke. I try not to even get into debates of any kind with atheists, though. So many of them are totally lacking in basic good manners and consideration. I just don't bother with rude people.

I really don't see how believing in just anything at all is better than being sceptical about believing in just anything. People might be happy in their little bubble of ignorance and fairytale-creatures, but think about what the world would come to if everyone would just believe anything they'd come across! Pink unicorns would become a very relevant spiritual thing not to be questioned or ridiculed and Russel's Teapot will become the subject of new space explorations. We don't have time or resources for that, we need to find out how to survive the end of this planet!
