Kind regards to all

I have visited this site with great interest for a while and have been impressed with in interesting threads and the religious & political tolerance and general decorum exhibited.

Religion is the major issue that has is and will face mankind as a race and as individuals and therefore such a forum is important and relevant.... in light of current world events even more so.

You may eventually decipher my personal persuation but my sinsere hope is that it does not come accross as bigoted in anyway.

In my second post however I would make mention as example of "JamesthePersian" who I do NOT share regilous beliefs, but am impressed by the "vibe" of his considerate warm response and interesting comments... and indeed many others here!

I look forward to interacting with you in the "ether".....as and when time permits

Cheers

Ok, anyway, welcome BeerStein! ...Maybe you should use your whole username, instead of your initials? :p

Namaste, if it pleases you, and welcome! I look forward to getting to know you! We seem to be collecting Australian members! (Which is a good thing, naturally.)

If it might be helpful, there's a link to a guide for our newer members in my 'signature'. Please let the staff know if you ever have any questions!

Thank you all for your welcome!

IMO One of the great virtue of religious thought is the enhancement of morality and relationships to our universe , fellow humans, and the devine.... and therefore I am not surprised by the kindness shown, but am grateful!

For those who are concerned at the initial profile, please do not be! It was conconcted in the moment, and will be modified to something less cryptic later when time permits, and I am more comfortable declaring it in a short title.

Sometimes the discussion of religious topics seems to quell , with all the seriousness, the capacity of humour ....it was a personal humour. One poster at least recognised the self depricating sig BS.... I do not intend to use it so relax!

In the absence of a more honest meaningful description of 'religion' it was purposely silly.... to the extent that converse to my initial statement in this post, we as humans "pigeon hole" people and hold prejudice based on a title..... I do not strictly fall absolutely into any category although I will over time correct it to something more universally recognised and meaningful.... then you can peg me!:)

In Aussie lingo, we have a joke ... Beer, Ball Games and... NO it is not my persuation but it seemed easiest at the time as I did not want to leave it blank.... there are many other "fields I am yet to complete..

BeerStein is equally silly, had I said "No42" or more religious like "BoldStephen" would that have been more acceptable... nah. However given an interest in science as it supports or contradicts some religious thought.... it occured to me for a raft of reasons

Cheers
BeerStein
