Gender Neutral Bathrooms converted back

I took these pictures back in May. Aspinwall, Pennsylvania. These public restrooms made national news some years back for being amongst the first to convert from Male and Female to Who Knows? I choose urinal, because I had to take a dump in one. What is a urinal used for? I have no idea anymore.

Now, as of a month ago, I walked in and they converted back to Male and Female. Why? It's a extremely liberal area, next to two hospitals, so it isn't from a change of heart in the local community. The issue I'm guessing is the two bathrooms are part of a city park on the river, and are attached to a rentable venue used often for dances, small concerts, and most importantly.... WEDDINGS.

I think the constant barrage of complaints in making EVERYONE participate in the transgender craze instead of just making a third seperate restroom the Trans restroom caused concern. Mom's don't want men walking through when their children are in. Grandparents paying for the weddings don't want the insult or confusion. Drunk female concert goers don't want men walking freely in their restrooms.

I get so sick of this petty whining. I just turned 78, and every home I've ever entered had the equivalent of gender neutral bathrooms. People should grow up.

If I go into a place, I'm just happy if the toilets actually work. You mentioned city park bathrooms. Last time I was in a city park, I had occasion to use the bathroom, and it was horrible. The urinal was backed up and there was a water leak, so there was water all over the floor. There was one stall with a working toilet.

I generally try to take it all in stride. Ultimately, if you gotta go, you gotta go. Just don't squeeze the Charmin.

I've had Mom's and Dad's appear in both restrooms, depending on childs gender, with no issues.

What's this have to do with weddings?

But it's ok for drunk female concert goers to bypass the line to the female potty and go into the men's restroom (something I see quite often as a concert and public every goer).

It's almost like it doesn't really matter, everybody poops.

2 in my house both gender neutral
Ours is gentlemen only, so everyone pees outside.

No gentlemen in this house. Just a bunch of men and boys.

What's this have to do with weddings?
My oldest had a fear of public restrooms as a youngster(sensory, terrified of the noises). We were at my sister's wedding reception.

He had to pee. We encouraged him to use the toilet, but as soon as we weren't looking....

He ran outside and relieved himself on a road cone. When we went to retrieve him, someone reassured us "its not a real wedding until someone pees outside".

Perfectly gender neutral!

Unisex bathrooms are so common here that california should explode and then violently implode then explode into the next big bang according to RWers crying about the sanctity of Jesus Christ the Porcelain Buddha.

My opinion is that having separate bathrooms based on sex (female or male) is a good thing. From what I understand—and from what I’ve seen—women are afraid of men. So, I imagine that a woman in a gender neutral bathroom who is washing her hands or brushing her hair and sees a man walk into the same bathroom feels worried. For that reason alone, I think that having separate bathrooms in a public place is a good thing.

Has no one here run into the bathroom opposite to their sex? Like seriously?
I’ve done that multiple times, whilst sober even
No one died
I did once by accident, to do a emergency shave. Women walked in and were not to thrilled to see me finishing up. I was confused but got out fast.

Most public toilets in France are gender neutral, they don't even need a sign informing people they are gender neutral, it's just expected.
