Getting hooked on The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch

As far as I can tell, it's not even a coverup. The government just denied the existence of Area 51 until recently.
The alien stuff is more others who want to believe too much and inserted it there and have endlessly insisted it must be there.
There's a lot of disinformation on the subject, including from the government. It's hard to tell what is really going on.

Lately I’ve been drawn to tv shows like Paranormal Caught on Camera, Hauntings and a few others on, of all channels, Travel Channel. Of course there’s the Grandaddy of them all, Ancient Aliens which is a decidedly guilty pleasure. My latest is The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch. The latter two are on the History Channel.

Has anyone seen it? If so, is it all staged or is there something actually going on, with genuine phenomena and investigations? One thing that makes me lean towards it being a genuine investigation is the participation of Dr. Travis Taylor, an astrophysicist, aerospace engineer and author of science fiction and science fact. The guy has some solid credentials.

So is it genuine, laughable, just entertainment... or what? Personally I think what they’re exploring and investigating is plausible... inter-dimensional portals, otherworldly occurrences, etc.
I had heard of it years ago. Read a book on it a few years back. It has a long history as a cattle ranch and strange creatures being seen. Unfortunately for the cattle there have been a lot of mutilations. I've often wondered if there is an association to the chupacabra of other lore

9.21 Questioner: Are they Bigfoot-type creatures?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct although we would not call these Bigfoot, as they are scarce and are very able to escape detection. The first race is less able to be aware of proximity of other mind/body/spirit complexes, but these beings are very able to escape due to their technological understandings before their incarnations here. These entities of the glowing eyes are those most familiar to your peoples.

9.22 Questioner: Then there are two different types of Bigfoot. Correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This will be the final question.

There are three types of Bigfoot, if you will accept that vibratory sound complex used for three such different races of mind/body/spirit complexes. The first two we have described.

The third is a thought-form.

This is something I think is intriguing. If the stories are to be believed there are no tracks leading to or away from the animals. The excisions are done with surgical precision no known carnivore can do with their dentition. Absence of blood.. none remaining in the animals, none on the ground. Humans playing hoaxes? Possibly but we're back to the absence of footprints or tracks or blood. As curious as I am to know the truth, I don't think I'd actually want be there to to see or experience it. :D

I think it's aliens harvesting seed. The seeds, when sprouted and grown, are either a form of cheap labour, or food.

As disturbing as the idea is, I don't find it that far-fetched. It was the premise of the movie Jupiter Ascending (Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis... I like the movie because I got to see Channing Tatum as a hybrid human/canine with pointed ears). An ancient galactic dynasty of humans, one of many but this was the most powerful, kept planets as farms. When "ripe for harvest" the livestock, (us) were harvested to be distilled into a youth elixir that was a big business.

Yeah, I was pretty serious with the suggestion, simply because it is one of the few that makes sense to me. We've had mutilations here in Alberta, although I'm guessing most aren't brought to the attention of many. Certainly lots of open range.

I have not watched any of the programmes listed in the original post. But I have been thinking about the paranormal a lot as of late. I believe our reality is stranger than what the currently prevailing materialist paradigm will accept. Nonetheless, I think genuine glimpses into the hidden preternatural realities of our world are very rare. So as a rule we should be skeptical of paranormal claims. This is even more true with anything we see on television and the internet.

I have my own memory of an experience with shadow entities as a child. I do not necessarily claim it was paranormal but I now know that I am not alone in having had such an experience.
