So is the point of this post that because the cartoonist is brazillian he is supposedly objective? I notice a great deal of comparison between Israelis with the nazis from these cartoons. Are we to believe this is the reality in Gaza currently?

Oddly, I am not the least bit offended by these cartoons. Curiously Muslims themselves are doing very little to help the Palestinians.

Maybe relates to discussions about Muslims and thus Islam?

Extraordinarily educational. Who can't but help learn a lot from those pictures about Islam.

Maybe in the next installment of tasteless and useless political cartoons we'll see depictions of Kurds being gassed, their towns being destroyed and efforts made to keep the Kurds down, take away their language, etc. Of course, once again, it's not the Jews (evil, rotten, zionist, scum!...I'm gettin' the hang of this) who are working against the Kurds.

Would that still be a discussion about Islam? Seriously, I'm confused here?:help:

This couldn't in the least bit be an effort by an individual to use the rules of a certain forum to post irrelevant and inflammatory information...now would it.:sarcastic

Anyway, this post most likely getting yanked soon due to :sad4:.

What a great discussion on Islam.

Irrelevant and inflammatory? Are you kidding me?
Cartoons depicting the Palestinian suffering inflammatory and irrelevant? Inflammatory to depict the killing of the Palestinian babies through cartoons? Inflammatory to convey the screams of the Palestinians through cartoons? Inflammatory to cartoon the Israeli Massacres and terrorism?

No problem in saying it's ok to kill the Palestinians, but when we say "no, this is terrorism" is inflammatory and irrelevant!! What's your problem?

You don't only want to support the Israeli terrorism and racism but you also want anyone else to shut up when he speaks out against this terrorism and racism.

True, that is, but are Muslims, in general, doing anything concrete to help the Palestinians? If they are, I hadn't noticed. Is the only support the Palestinians are getting these amusing little cartoons and of course, people posting on Internet forums on their behalf? I am humbled by the deep caring and Herculean effort, to say the least. Is it possible for Muslims to do less than they are to help the Palestinians?

Sadly, it is not in Islam's interest to end the suffering of the Palestinians. You see, far more mileage can be politically milked from their suffering than there can ever be from a peaceful resolution of these festivities. BTW: The last time I checked, Palestinians were not a race, but rather, an very small ethnic group.

I have often wondered, of late, if Israel simply capitulated and made Palestine a soverign nation without the influence of Israel, would that end the emnity of Muslims towards Jews, Zionists or whatever animal term one wishes to call the fine people of Israel? I doubt it. I am confident that anti-Jewish rhetoric would raise its ugly head in other areas as well.
