I'd say that common sense is a complicated concept. It seems obvious that some form of common sense exists, but I also think that the term is often misused. For example, some people may reject new ideas and claim that their own views are based on common sense. I believe that this is not a proper use of common sense, but rather a way of avoiding critical thinking.
