So what do you suggest?Which is why fact checking is bs. A feel good endeavor because like all collective endeavors, it's prone to corruption and bias like everything else is.
Against what?I prefer cross checking and seeing for oneself directly.
Whatever the contention might be.Against what?
"Seeking for oneself" sounds a lot like "I did my own research". Whenever I found people that made that claim they tended to cherry pick articles that seemed to support them and ignored the articles that clearly refuted their beliefs.Whatever the contention might be.
But we can rejoice in this good news.Deaths are only one element to the story. As we have more AC in more places life can be protected since the 1920's. But there are other effects, like crops. Energy demand can cause price spikes and loss of power supply. More heat waves are coming and that will affect more people in poverty. Let's note that government programs (socialism to the far right) has done a lot of work to help provide fans and AC units for those who cannot afford them so those in poverty don't suffer and die from exposure to heat.
The Tour de France is happening now and they have been in the Alps this week, so the higher altitudes mean color temps for the riders. Today was 88 which isn't horrible but in my area we've been riding in 95-100 over the last few weeks, and it takes it's toll. I don't mind the heat myself, but larger riders it does. The Tour has had excellent spectators so far. Of course being in the mountains is cooler than lower altitude.I saw in France that they were already having heat wave lockdowns. Banned concerts and outdoor gatherings until government officials declare the heatwave over.
Facts, right? France has determined that the government can decide it’s too hot for you to go outside. COVID lockdowns are sooo last year. Climate lockdowns, here we come!
Oof maybe a bit too much attitudes? My bad chief
I think your facts wrong.Climate change related deaths is spiraling downward.
Average deaths are declining as well. The Danish environmentalist Bjorn Lomborg has reported that climate-related deaths averaged 485,000 a year in the 1920s. Between 2010 and 2019, there was an average of 18,362 annual climate-related deaths. In 2020, the death rate dropped to 14,893. Based on what has been reported, there have been 5,569 climate-related deaths in 2021 so far.

Your personal opinion is invalidated by what experts say. According to experts we humans can help create stability of the climate by changing our behavior and reducing use of fossil fuels."Everyone talks about the weather but nobody does anything about it." ( Mark Twain)
That's because we can't change the climate...so why worry about what we can not change?

Lol, dream on. We don't have that much power. I wonder who got blamed for cataclysmic events in ancient times? At least they knew enough to know they weren't the cause. What are you talking about? We already changed the climate. What we need to do is to stop how we are changing it.
We do have that power. Do you want to know how we know that man is to blame?Lol, dream on. We don't have that much power. I wonder who got blamed for cataclysmic events in ancient times? At least they knew enough to know they weren't the cause.
