Gnostic traditions in Mesoamerica?

In Mesoamerica there was a great tradition of sacrifice - including human sacrifice - to the gods.
What I wonder is if there were also secret gnostic traditions.
The broad mass believed in the necessity and efficacy of sacrifices, sure - but in every society there are persons who go against the mainstream and hold a different point of view.

But what I mean is if their were practitioners of meditation, without requirement of sacrifice.

Gnostics generally frown on sacrificing living things, regardless of which creed

Gnostic traditions are christian traditions (if sometimes heavily removed), and if there was any evidence for Christianity in pre European contact Mesoamerica I'm pretty sure that I would have heard of it
