@DeviChaaya, today my Guru Maharaj was singing and giving His commentary of a beautiful bhajan, and this bhajan reminded me of this post of yours. I would like to share it, and some meanings which we revealed today. It is a very very beautiful bhajan in glorification of Radharani, Espxcially since this month is Kartik month, the month of Radharani, we can use this as an excuse to glorify Her.
radha-bhajane jadi mati nahi bhela
krsna-bhajana tava akarana gela
If your desire for the worship of Srimati Radharani does not come about, then your so-called worship of Krsna is completely useless.
[No disrespect to Lord Krsna and His devotees in this verse
Bhaktivinoda Thakur is writing this in His own mood as a exclusive servant of Radharani]. My Gurudev explained it like this. Whatever Krsna worship we do, we do in order to get the shelter of Radharani. Krsna is immersed in His own pastimes, because He is rasaraja, so He doesn't always listen to our prayers. But Radharani, She always listens. She is the embodiment of service, therefore She cares for any soul who wishes to approach Krsna. Another reason is this. If someone worships Krsna, and Krsna then tells Radharani, "please accept this souls into Your service", Radharani can say "No". Even Krsna's recommendation cannot give us Radharani's service. Yet by worshiping Radharani, we can get Her service.
atapa-rohita suraya nahi jani
radha-virahita madhava nahi mani
Just as I never know the sun to be without sunlight, so I do not care to regard Madhava without Radha.
This verse is also so wonderful. Just like literally you cannot even begin to touch the sun, or even a light source without first going through its rays. We cannot reach Krsna without going through Radharani, who is His rays (potency).
kevala madhava pujaye so ajnani
radha anadara koro-i abhimani
One who worships Madhava alone is imperfect in his knowledge, and one who disrespects Radha is simply conceited and proud.
kabanhi nahi korobi tankor sanga
citte icchasi jadi braja-rasa-ranga
You should never associate with such a person if you at all desire within your heart to participate in the eternal sportive pastimes of Vraja.
radhika-dasi jadi hoy abhiman
sighra-i mila-i taba gokula-kan
If one considers oneself to be a humble maidservant of Radhika, then such a person very quickly meets the Lord of Gokula.
brahma, siva, narada, sruti, narayani
radhika-pada-raja pujaye mani’
Lord Brahma, Lord Siva, Narada Muni, the personified Vedas, and Laksmi-devi all honor and worship the dust of Radhika's lotus feet.
uma, rama, satya, saci, candra, rukmini
radha-avatara sabe, amnaya-vani
The Vedic scriptures declare that the goddesses Uma, Rama, Satya, Saci, Candra, and Rukmini are all personal expansions of Srimati Radharani.
heno radha-paricarya jankara dhan
bhakativinoda ta’r magaye caran
Bhaktivinoda, whose only treasure is the service of such a Radha, humbly begs for Her lotus feet.
