In my last thread I was told that, to see magic was real I should try it, so now I'm open, yes I have read magic books but majority of it was general. So does anybody have any magic spells that I should try. preferably, 'having sex with someone' magic or 'love spells' for me and my lover. I know that 'three fold law' coming back on you blah blah blah karma. Which I already believe in, so I will not be manipulating anyone and the person knows that I will be casting a love spell and a 'have good sex with this person' spell. He knows.

I don't know how to make up my own, and I will try later, just anybody have any love spells , and sex spells. No i don't' have money to buy a book, only to rent if available at my library. Yes, there are 'plenty of spells online' but I trust RF , not random people. SO RF any love spells, or sex spells you can give me that I AM being now being open about and try.

I speak only for myself, but I feel confident in that fact that most Pagans/Wiccans here on RF will agree with me in saying if you are NEW to magick, and have simply "read [some] magic books", then you definitely shouldn't even be attempting any sort of spell at this point in time.

The Powers that Be (AKA Magick) are NOT to be taken lightly, and not to be dabbled with. It's highly volatile, in the wrong hands, and very dangerous for dabblers, and those who don't know what they're doing.

On another note, Magick is a personal thing. Personal (MADE-UP) spells tend to work a helluva lot more/smoother/easier/etc. than those that you just take from someone else or off the internet. If you don't know how to make up your own spells yet, then I suggest you stop fishing for those that belong to others, keep studying and learn.

Just a piece of advice from a long time practitioner.

Technically speaking I'm not new. I stuided lots of religions for a while over many years. I ask this same question in another wiccan forum, and I got similar response, then I answered I konw, they ask me many series of question regarding wiccan, etc, I answered them all correctly even the deep ones. I have the head knowledge all elements, colors, redes, laws, crystal, phases of moon, festivals, deities, and history. I have made my own spells many times before, but its like this thing no matter how long you have been in drivers ED, you still are a little nervous when its your first time behind the wheel. Books just gave me head knowledge.

From an outsider's perspective, it seems as though you're looking into Wicca/Paganism merely for the "ability" to cast some sort of love/sex spells. Magick doesn't work like that, and that's abusing the Powers.

See that what 'i don't understand' and nobody not even book or online I have came across gives me such a direct answer, the only answer I get is 'walk my own path' and 'my own path' tells me this and that, but i get its WRONG.

Now, love/sex spell is the 1st thing that came into my mind. I'm looking into wiccan because I am drawn into it, after studying most religions, earth-based religions honestly, give me sense of peace. I did a spell today already and it worked....I feel much at peace, and I feel much around me. The spell I did today worked, i just used ehow and google spells and use my own words, and elements etc, but when I say that I get 'your wrong, it not going to work' or 'your abusing powers'. I learn very very fast. I can read a spell book in a day or two absorbing everything.

How does Magik work? and how do u know if you are ready? because telling myself, and book knowledge isn't enough.

No one can tell you, either, when you will and won't be ready. That's completely up to you and the powers within and without you. The only thing is, just because you've studied and read, and researched for a few weeks or a couple of months, that doesn't mean you ARE ready. You don't read a book, and suddenly you're a witch.

What I meant by abusing the powers is that researching Wicca JUST to cast spells, or JUST to cast love spells is not the right reason to want to be Wiccan. The Powers that Be will know that you're in it for the wrong reasons and the end results will not be nice. That's all I'm saying. Maybe take some time getting to know the God and Goddess before automatically jumping into the spells. Learn about meditation and centering yourself. Learn to talk to your Gods and trust them, and LISTEN to them when they talk back, because they will. All of this should come before spellcasting.

Then what really to you, makes someone a witch then? if they feel that they are one

Now we are getting someone, I have never talk to the gods and goddess because of fear or getting to know them. I meditate daily, and I never knew 'they talk back' or that I could 'LISTEN' that an area I know of, but highly ignorant. I wish to learn more.

btw ususally before I have began doing magic, I would pray saying god of all the elements (being specific elements) then I would name gods that I know of, including jehovah, allah god of this, this god etc, then I say I beesech you, say my intention deep breathing, closed eyes, concentrate, then i say my mission and repeat 3 times, then I do my spell and close the same way beseech god & goddes god of all element blah blah, name many god I know of, deep breath repeat again, and say so be it or amen and I rhyme it all sense i'M good at rapping.

There isn't a specific set of guidelines for what makes a witch and what doesn't. The practice, I suppose, would be a good place to start. The distinction goes something like this (though there are those who will argue it): You don't have to practice Magick to be Wiccan, you don't have to be Wiccan to be a witch, but you have to practice magick to be a witch.

It's good that you meditate daily. It's usually through mediations that one will hear the voices of their Gods. And for some, talking to them comes easier through meditation. Me, I talk to Isis everyday at any time, not just through meditation, and I hear her talk to me all the time. As for listening to your Gods, it won't always be in the form of voices, that's only usually achieved after a lot of practice. But speak to your Gods, say good morning, tell them about your day. When you're sad, let them listen. When you're happy, share it with them. And eventually, you will begin to hear their answers in the way the wind blows through the trees, or when a dog barks after you've said good morning to them, or how you hear a different sound from a flowing lake for just a brief moment. The Gods are in nature, and Nature is the Gods, SD. Listen for them in every aspect of your day, and eventually, you will become as attuned to them as they are to you.

Sense I was a child, there always been something there in me. I have always predicted the future, have dreams the come true later. I never got it all together.
