"God" = Alien

“God” = Alien

According to what various interpretations within Christianity, “God” must be an Alien because:
  • God has a physical form
  • God can and has died
  • God resides in “heaven” (i.e. sky, space, etc.)
  • Accounts say that god has come down in a cloud and/or going up in a cloud
  • God’s transportation is a chariot in the sky (i.e. spacecraft)
  • God interferes in people’s lives and kills those “he” doesn’t like
  • God has a gender (or two)
  • God can reproduce
  • Some followers of said god say that god may perform a massive abduction (i.e. “rapture”)
  • God created humanity and put them on earth to till the soil (i.e. slave race and/or A.I.)
  • God is a named being (i.e. fill in blank for various “names”)
  • God’s “kingdom” will supposedly drop down out of the sky and land on Jerusalem (i.e. UFO landing/crash)
  • God’s spirit has been said to “hover” over the waters and other places
  • Accounts say that god caused floods, earthquakes and more (i.e. weather manipulation)
  • Accounts say that god can “speak” and/or god can write (i.e. the Bible)
  • God has an “angelic” winged army (i.e. spacecraft / flying machines)
  • Some followers of said god say that god was once one of us and one day we can become like him (i.e. DNA manipulation and genetic upgrades)
For what it’s worth, these interpretations make “God” sound like the Annunaki …

Any questions?

Cool book: I've seen it quoted and suggested quite a few times!

Thanks :D

I have a few other suggestions too:
"Gods of Eden: Egypt's Lost Legacy and the Genesis of Civilation" by Andrew Collins
"Fingerprints of the Gods" by Graham Hancock
"The Sirius Mystery" by Robert K.G. Temple
"The Urantia Book"

GOD=Entity

Do you think that "god" as an energy of a sentient sort...or do you think that "god" is a being with arms/legs and the like?

To be specific, I'm not speaking philosophy here. I'm not asking if you think that "god is within" or whatever.

But does god like Reeses Pieces??

I have never heard of an alien race that likes Reeses Pieces in particular. However, oddly enough, I have heard some accounts of alien races that prefer to eat human flesh.

I haven't read Chariots of the Gods yet, but it was very popular in the 70's.

I did read a bit of the Urantia Book when I was young. It was scary in that I got a feeling that the authors believed that the symbolism was quite literally real.

There are some parts of that book that has caused me to scratch my head over too. It is an interesting book though overall.

GOD as spirit, a spiritiual entity, no specific shape. I am keeping an open mind about the "GOD within" aspect.

OK that's cool... and probably exactly what I believe too..but one can never really know for sure what is going on in another persons' mind. At any rate, the reason why I asked, is to clarify "entity" from "alien."

I wasn't sure if by alien you meant “foreign”.

Yeah, God is an extra terrestrial. So what exactly is your point.

Do you really believe that "god" (as interpreted by Christians) is an extra-terrestrial in the strictest sense of the word?
