God as moral compass

I believe that God is our "moral compass", our conscience. I don't believe God is the creator. I don't believe there is a "creator" God. There is a hierarchy of consciousnesses,or holons. Like there are ants and then higher up, the hive mind that organizes, I also believe humans have a hive mind, or species mind. This is not God, God is at uppermost level of the hierarchy of consciousness.

Thoughts on these ideas?
If God isn't creator then is God with us? And... why are we here?

I have no idea what a "higher self" is. Maybe you can enlighten me.
New age concept.

I would agree with you that God is most high and that we do live and move and have our being in him. But morality is God's gift to us, not God himself. Some Christians might argue that to know God is to know his law, which to a certain extent is true. I guess it's like reading a person's dating profile on a website versus going on a date with them. There's power in the presence.

I mean we get our conscience(and thus morals) through God, and his presence within us. Does that make any sense? Now, I can't prove it, it is only my guess based on experience.

Sure, makes some sense.

Quick question, how do you know God is present in you?
I have experienced God's presence, as a different state of consciousness. Unless I was hallucinating, which is a possiblity. But I don't see how my mind could have made something like that up. It was a whole different state of being.

Okay, so, I hate using labels but I kind of think it's necessary here.

Are you at all into the new age movement?

Some of my beliefs might be considered New Age. For instance, I think the Precession of the Equinoxes is religiously important, which involves the "new age" of Aquarius arriving soon. I'm not sure how much my other beliefs match up to New Age beliefs, as I'm not really sure what those are. I haven't researched the New Age movement much. My beliefs are considered weird by most people and I'm not sure they really fit in anywhere. I am trying to figure it out as I go along.
