God Gave Us Trump: Self-proclaimed prophets and their toadies

Maybe he sees Trump as a plague of boils, or maybe lice.

Who can know the mind of God.
Maybe he wants to push the limits of dumbness and gullibility, see how far he can take it. Could be good for a laugh from a god’s eye view, I mean eternity must get quite boring.

Trump is the antithesis of Jesus, yet these deluded folk kiss the Mango Mussolini's ring, and other parts too.

They're angry, frightened, and resentful. They've been watching their nation and their way of life being destroyed for decades and they're looking for a savior. They're looking to be empowered. And unfortunately they're looking to the very people that are destroying everything because those are the people with the power. It's a sad thing to witness the end of an empire. Because they're rarely brought down by some great conquering army or the uprising of some alternative empire. They're eaten away from the inside by their own undue privilege, greed, and stupidity. And Donald Trump is the poster boy for undue privilege, greed, and stupidity. So are all his idiotic cohorts and sycophants in government and media.

When people are being abused, some of them will choose to serve their abusers, hoping to be spared by them. Or they are imagining that they have gained back some semblance of empowerment by helping their abusers to abuse others. It's a very common theme, and it's what is fueling all this animosity and hatred coming from a third of our population toward, basically, everyone else. They feel powerless because they are powerless. They feel abused because they are being abused. Their lives keep getting worse and they have little hope for a future. And unfortunately, their response is to serve their abusers in some sad and misplaced effort to maintain some sense of holding onto the control and position that they once had before they were subjugated and enslaved, and so abused.

Civilizations fail because the people in them allow the worst among them to gain the positions and levers of power. And of course once they achieve this power and control they abuse it, selfishly, and subsequently destroy the very systems that allowed the civilization to occur, and to thrive in the first place. And this is where we are now in the U.S. We have allowed the worst among us to gain the position and levers of power and they are using them to destroy the systems that enabled the civilization to grow and thrive. The undeserved privileged rich are deliberately creating economic bubbles and monopolies so they use them to price gouge everyone else for as much wealth as they can possibly take. And they couldn't care less about the consequences to anyone else. And of course those consequences are the destruction of the very systems that enabled civilization to occur, and to thrive.

And so now our civilization is dying. Disintegrating right before our eyes. And we all know it. And a lot of us are reacting badly to it because that's just how a lot of people react when they find themselves being victimized. They look to victimize and blame someone else. Hoping to feel empowered again. And these are the people who follow Trump.

I don't know how representative my friend / helper is.
But he needs Trump to save the country from all the
usual suspects....Marxists, Democrats, haters, Muslims,
liberals, atheists. He greatly fears the country's imminent
downfall to either violent Marxist revolution, or even an
alien invasion (yes, really...aliens from outer space).
Trump will return USA to a Christian country.

An atheist I know supports Trump. He thinks Trump is
great, but he pays little attention to news. He's unaware
of the breadth of the insurrection. He likes hearing
speeches. When I give him details of Trump's treason,
he dismisses it as fake news.
FWIW, he's a recovering Catholic.

snippet from article:
"They're just trying to bankrupt him. They're trying to take everything he's got. They're trying to put him in prison," author, media personality and self-proclaimed prophet Lance Wallnau said in October on "The Jim Bakker Show", an hour-long daily broadcast that focuses on news and revelations about the end times that it says we are living in.
Is this the same Jim Bakker who was convicted of fraud in connection to The PTL Club back in the late 1980's?
Yup.

No it's a strong fact.

@PureX is a communist.
for your edification:
Texas State College of Liberal Arts Department of Philosophy Student Resources Informal Fallacies Ad Hominem

Ad Hominem

(Attacking the person): This fallacy occurs when, instead of addressing someone's argument or position, you irrelevantly attack the person or some aspect of the person who is making the argument. The fallacious attack can also be direct to membership in a group or institution.

I often disagree with Purex, but you did not address his argument at all only dismissed it.
