God in one ear , Aliens in the other , who do I listen too?

I really don't understand why some of you are entertaining this. Unless this was supposed to be some philosophical enigma it really reeks of mental delirium especially considering I've challenged the OP with a series of questions in post #5 to which he conveniently ignored.
I answered you post 7

Do I listen to God or the Aliens ?

Any voices in your head are you.

It’s a kind of game you play. It is a perfectly fine game too.

We don’t panic when children have imaginary friends. Although we worry when they have imaginary enemies.

Everyone hears at least one voice in their head. They call it “me”. I think most people have arguments, and even amusing conversations with themself.

It is something we don’t talk about much, for some reason. It’s only a problem...if it’s a problem.

It is your unconscious mind projected as identities.

Take part in the conversation, and don’t let God OR the aliens get the upper hand. Bring Bugs Bunny into the conversation. He’ll sort you out.

Every now and then, remind them that they are expressions of your own intelligence.

I can ask them questions and sometimes they give me the answers , sometimes it takes a few days before they answer but generally they answer..
Excellent!!! Can you ask them a few questions from me then?

1. Is it possible to travel faster than the speed of light and if it is, how? if not, do they have some other way of travelling fast through space and could they share them with us?

2. Do they know a cure for cancer as that would help a lot of people?

If they can answer those and you write down the answers they give, then we can see where it gets us. I have a **** load of other questions, I would like to ask them. :D

Each way bet.

It’s a conversation worth having anyway.

I remember hearing of a woman with minimal English language skills who was discussing her issues with a psychiatrist. He asked her if she ever heard a voice in her head. She said yes, there was a voice in her head all the time. He decided she was probably schizophrenic on that basis. Over time, they worked out that she was referring to the voice(s) we ALL have in our head.

Strangely, we don’t have a word for that voice.
Spot the alarming omission.

I have experienced the voices for a long time , we are friends now since they stopped telling me to jump . The hospital would try to destroy my friends .
It's not "friends", it's a psychotic break. You have had this problem before. You need to be on medication.

I've been in many philosophical discussions in my life that had similar hypothetical's like this, but the thing is the OP of those discussions made it clear they were hypothetical so there is no misunderstanding. I'm not sure whether the OP is serious or this is an attempt at having a philosophical discussion because the layout is bizarre.

That is why I asked the OP since I'm entertaining this, what makes one voice God and the other alien? Are they both speaking? How does one make the validated distinction from one and the other? The OP then responds "the aliens are autistic" which makes no absolute sense to the questions I asked.

Possibly James Blunt isn’t entirely sure either.

Either way, we can have a discussion about it.

Do you have a voice in your head ? I guess you must, or you wouldn’t have thoughts.

Do you only have one consistent voice in your head ?

Given the fact that the voice(s) is how you are aware of your own mind, and is a kind of fabrication, is there any real need to limit yourself to one ?

We are higher functioning autistic beings , we are quirky and unorthodox , you may even consider we have multiple personalities as our thinking has neurological diversity beyond human comprehension.

Ok can you ask them again, I didn't ask if lightspeed were lightspeed, but whether it is possible to travel faster than the speed of light and how?
Light doesn't have a speed so yes you can travel faster than light they said..

They added try walking.

When we are exercising empathy, we run a simulation of the other person in our head.

The inability to do that accurately is considered to be a lack of sensitivity.

So, our brains are already wired to run simulations.
