God Is Pain

I think i've found the god.In most religions when we do our hearts desires it is count as sin and we are punished.Actually It is also true in real life.Everything someone can desire is punished with prison which means physical suffering (rape or torture). So i think pain is like the payment for our desires. The more we can risk pain the more we can live our desires. So the only god , either you believe in afterlife or don't , is pain.

I won't be making anymore posts outside pain in this forum.Because i've found my God

Edit:You are welcomed if you can prove otherwise.

Do you want to talk about this? Is something wrong in your life?

My life is ok.It sounds messed up but it really isn't.Most people's lifes including mine is boring. We cannot do what we want because we are afraid of pain.So pain is controlling us.I am not talking about worshipping pain , hurting others but accepting the pain , try to endure it.If we can increase our will to endure pain we can live our desires and have a fulfilling life.So pain is not our enemy , it is the only way to live our desires.

Jai Maha Kali Ma!

But seriously.

Pain is a physical sensitization. Pain is the emptiness of the heart. Pain is the loss of a loved one. Pain.....is clinging.

One may not be able to control what one FEELS, but one may master the REACTION.

This is how Buddhist Monks can light themselves on fire in the name of peace and not once cry out in pain or suffering.

When one conquers fear, all that is left is the burning, all consuming fire of compassion.

What makes you focus on the darkness, friend?

I am not focusing to the pain i just accept it like in the noble truths. But i don't think we should leave our desires completely just accept the pain.

When i was doing meditation i felt the sense of merging with the universe ,or some sens of light. It was good and empowering but i felt like it missed something : the darkness that's in our nature.I cannot let that predatory side of me go.I was already doing meditation.I decided to focus on mindfullness meditation because as you pointed out it may help endure pain.

Darkness and Light are not opposing.

Kali is a fearsome, terrible deity....who is a devoted, caring mother. No Hindu would say this is a contradiction.

Balance, wisdom, temperance.

No human ever became enlightened while being at a perfect state beforehand. It takes more then a little grace to make that final jump.

What if your desire is to avoid pain?
