God/Jesus doesn't answer my prayers.

I have prayed with all my heart for God to show me that he exists, especially recently (Aunt passed away, she was Catholic) I've heard people say that they prayed and he showed them of his existence, so why not me? I take this as proof that Christianity is false. Care to explain/prove me wrong?

I lost loved ones is a terrible time it will get easier with time, the realization we been shafted by life.
An harsh reality of life nothing last forever billions have been before you and billions after. Is a part of this life.
What would you aunt say if she could see you suffering, she would not want that. You being upset is all about yourself i know because ive been there.

Somebody will tell you Have Faith and Believe but they cant produce the existence of any God outside of the Holy Books.

I'm completely over it, I just wanted to know if she was truly following god, and well, Jesus hasn't helped me in any way.

Oh I know I didn't do anything wrong, I'm trying to start a debate that's all. Until someone can prove the Abrahamic religions to me, I'm a heathen lmao.
What I learned is that the image or idea of God that I had from my Christian upbringing, traditions, and teachings from church, all were just wrong. After becoming an atheist, I could start looking at these things from an independent, outside view. Now, I'm open for the spiritual experience, but not the supernatural or in the traditional Christian sense.

Part of the problem is that you have your religion listed as Asatru. but are praying to a different G-d?

Just because you follow one religion doesn't mean to can't pray to another god.. It's called experiencing the other side of things, all I experienced was silence.

Nothing at wrong with Heathenry. I love Heathenry. Maybe heathenry is the right path for you.
