God loves gays and lesbians

Atheists do not read books?
I assume most do. But they aren't turning to a book to tell them what to do and how to behave. Most people, regardless of religion, have a good sense of right and wrong because we're born with an innate sense to conform and act pro-socially.

Bible is ancient book which does not interpret itself.
No, it doesn't. Sodom and Ghomorah were described as generally sinful and condemned for that reason with no one particular sin being singled out. According to the Bible they were just bad people, and because Abraham's God is very violent and lacking patience he killed them all.

Most atheists aren't judges or lawyers, and not many people, regardless of religion, have actually read any of that.
What if atheist Bob decides to follow Philosophy Books of Friedrich Nietzsche? Is it allowed? If yes, why theist cannot follow Holy Bible?

Most people who have read him acknowledge that Nietzsche, while he had some amazingly powerful and incredible life-affirming prose, he was also at the same time full of **** and didn't always have great ideas.
If Bob is turning to the Will to Power, that one is objectionable because it was more Nietzsche's sister who put it together, and did in a way to make it appeal to Nazi ideology and further her (and her husband's) rank within the Nazi party. He may be more of a Nazi or other white supremacist if this is his book.
Or he may just be an idiot if he's taking to non-canon, those books written by Nietzsche when he was in the throes of illness (and you can clearly see a staggering decline in the quality of work in these books).
Now, when will Christians admit their "Holy" Bible isn't so holy?

God loves gays and lesbians. It is not a sin. They do not harm anyone. They only love each other. God is love. Because of this i know God is not against same sex relationship
It´s hard to admit, but the bible seems to condemn homosexuality so ether

1 it is wrong to be gay (or do gay stuff) perhaps gay people really need to make an effort and go against their “feelings”

2 its ok to be gay according to the bible and I am just misunderstanding the verses

3 the bible is not inspired (or at least those particular verses)

I would like to pick option 2, but intellectually I really cant find a way to do it.

Then obviously someone lied and either the OT or NT is not trustworthy.

That's very problematic when dealing with apostates like me because we still know those interpretations. It's a very weak attempt to deflect criticism without actually considering it.
As it turns out, we just took our blinders off and aren't making excuses or apologizing for the Bible anymore.

That god wants a lot of people killed? The Bible is very consistent on this.

As if.
The Church itself has been one of the worst. It's killed the witches, the heretics, pagans, Jews, Muslims, thou shalt not kill is so situational that it hasn't stopped the Church from killing other Christians. They've even done it in order to kill the people they were after. This is where "kill them all and let god sort them out" comes from, a Papal Edict that was a writ of mass summary execution.

And yet the Bible massively contradicts itself. Like Jesus saying he is specifically Lord of the Living and most certainly not the dead, compared to Paul who said Jesus is lord of both the living and dead.

So, in other words, cherry pick the hell out of it to uphold what you like and ignore what you don't. Take the Bible very seriously, except we find another asterisk here, like we do after thou shalt not kill, explaining, with no real objective measurements or standards, you can ignore what you don't like.

Except for witches, bisexuals and homosexuals, apostates, rebellious kids, women who are believed to not be a virgin (in accordance with absurd and ridiculous standards that don't even work) in her wedding night, spilling seed, calling a prophet baldy, even threatening violence to innocent people over a deliberate lie told by one of his prophets.

He had the first born of Egypt butchered, and he drowned a bunch of innocent kids when he flooded the Earth.
Amd Abraham harping about the goodness if his own god, don't you think that's to be expected and not at all unusual? Hardly evidence of goodness when one of the most dedicated followers is promoting it.

And the Bible says all things come from Jehovah.
So, is the Bible or a catechism correct?

They didn't know of Derrida or post-Modernism back then. They killed them.

How to know what is from God in the Bible? That is simple. God is love and just. What is against love and justice is not from God.

This is not cherry pick.

Going from G-d loves someone to them not being a sinner is a non sequitur.
We could get deep into what sin is all about but rather than go down into that rabbit hole right now, this: Conservative Judaism has no issue with same-sex relationships. Stances of Faiths on LGBTQ+ Issues: Conservative Judaism

As early as 1990, the Rabbinical Assembly’s Committee on Jewish Law and Standards, which sets halakhic (legal) policy for the Conservative Movement, stated their desire to “work for full and equal civil rights for gays and lesbians in our national life.”

That is indeed the theme of the NT.

Those who start dragging in the OT, are almost always ignoring passages they don't like

Exodus 21:17 ESV
“Whoever curses his father or his mother shall be put to death.

Exodus 21:15 ESV
“Whoever strikes his father or his mother shall be put to death.

Those passagers you wrote is not from God because:

In my opinion

Yes, God loves everybody. Those who are gay did not choose to be such.
Well aggressive people didn’t choose to be that way ether, but they are expected to go against their own nature and try to avoid violent actions.

So if you accept the premise that it is wrong to be gay, then gay people are expected to fight against their own nature and avoid doing gay stuff.

It shouldn’t be a big of a deal, we all fight against our nature we all do things that “we don’t like” or avoid things that we would like to do.

Can you name one thing you disagree with God about? Maybe you aren't talking about God, maybe you are talking about your own personal feelings towards the subject matter.
